we ate here 2 weeks ago.. So many options and choices but everything was self-serve except the omelettes that were made to order. All of the Asian offerings were absolutely delish... Less so with the Western breakfast items.

Thank you for your comment. The Japanese menu may be more distinctive than the Western menu. Hapuna is my favorite restaurant because it is spacious, liberating, and has a good atmosphere.

@@aya_food_adventures do you go in specifically to dine there when you're not staying there?

@@SBakall2 I like to go to the breakfast buffet on my days off from work. Especially hotel breakfasts are a different everyday experience. It is my little change of pace. (It would be best if I could take a long vacation and travel...)

@@aya_food_adventures I can see that being very enjoyable. TONS of variety for not a lot of money in lovely surroundings. Here in the US, hotel breakfasts don't tend to be anything fantastic and the variety is limited.. not to mention, it's usually very pricey.. There are better restaurants outside of the hotel to eat at.

Did you have to stay in this hotel to be able to eat here? How do you make reservations? I don’t read Japanese . Thank you

When I moved to Japan, my first job after having a work permit and visa was at this hotel, on the 38th floor

Thank you for watching and commenting. I'm glad that immigration restrictions have been eased, making it easier for foreigners to come to Japan. The period of immigration restrictions was long, wasn't it? Please enjoy Japan☺️

Yes, you can just go in and eat here. I stayed here and didn't have to make a reservation but I believe reservations are available to everyone.

everything is mini sized in Japan

    • @aya_food_adventures

It is certainly so. Most of the dishes are mini size, except for the dishes you serve yourself. What about buffets in other countries?🤔
