did the same thing that caused us to draw against City, take off our attackers so we can't maintain possession or counter, absorb pressure, eventually concede because we are not a good defensive team. Poch is not good, he can't adapt, he plays the same system he played a decade ago, Poch will not bring this team to where we want to be, so if that is the case, why keep him?

We kept attacking down the same right wing bcz Poch played gallagher at left wing and instead of replacing him with Mudryk he takes off the most dangerous player we had in Madueke. Poch needs to fucking leave

Caicedo and Enzo aren’t the problem. Cole and Carney aren’t the problem. Gusto and Petrovic aren’t the problem. Thiago isn’t the problem. Cucurella isn’t the problem. That’s somewhat of a spine right there.
We have inconsistencies with centre backs, Mudryk honestly isn’t much better than average, Jackson isn’t great but he’s young so how good is he really supposed to be. Gallagher is limited. Poch got a shit formation
@@danielalbo4994 Not sure I agree. Caicedo and Cucurella are a regular problem and this game they were a large part of the problem,. Poch definitely lost us this game but Cucurella is absolute trash and Caicedo is a liability.

I've come to an acceptance now with Chels. The good old days are well & truly over, everyone... shamefully even myself had the audacity to talk about a European spot. Nah I cannot have this team embarrass us in any sort of European campaign. It's a long long way back to those levels & we are just not it.
Going into the game vs Manchester United I said that even if we won I didn't it would change anything going forward as far as building some momentum and consistency, but I never thought we'd win the way we did. With the way we won that game I thought it might make something finally click and we'd look back in it as a turning point in the season and this "project", but it all started with winning today. Because we didn't, that United game now means nothing and there's nothing that'll make me believe we've turned a corner until I actually see it happen

I think a lot of our struggles boils down to Pochettinos tactical insecurity indirectly affecting the players on the field. The players knew they weren't controlling this match and needed a different approach but Poch did nothing. Yes the squad is young and insecure, but Poch needs to take charge when the match tactic doesn't work. When he doesn't the players get even more nervous.

I played sports as older youth, dad was a fab coach, so I never understand how professionals can go out there with sluggish body language. Contemplating not watching any more matches this season! When will you lot accept we have bang average CB/GK and few if any defensive options in midfield which mean we concede so many uneccessary goals. This undermines the confidence of the whole team. Give the nanager a decent defensive spine and results will come .
Whilst the defence is poor no matter who plays, has anyone looked at Caceido week after week, he needs dropping for a while. I don’t think him and Fernandez play well together. It needs a drastic change. Trouble is the money he cost makes it difficult to drop him, but it needs doing.
@GB, we are not the CFC of ages past. We are mid, the coach is not ideal, many of the players are bang on average. I hope the project works otherwise, soon we will be in relegation battle. It's only a matter of time.
