  • In episode 124 of Truck House Life, I'll take you to one of the craziest tourist towns I've ever been to, the town of Banff, in Banff National Park. There were too many humans in town and on the trails, although I can see why, as the scenery is incredible. In this episode I'll fix the truck, get back on the road and take you into the chaos... maybe even sneak a onewheel ride in!

Canmore is beautiful and not so busy with tourists like Banff.Banff is beautiful place but expensive . If your looking for city Edmonton they have that big mall . There another camp place call bergin Out from Sundre to camp . And of course there BMO land free if you want off experience . I lived in Alberta for 13 years . Listen to my song 66 Mustang at Burlington Bill here on youtube. We have had a couple vans but our last four vehicles for travel have been Ford trucks. Our last two were 6.7 F-350's. Now we pull a 35 foot Solitude with a 2020 F-350 Diesel. Love it. Always loved the design of your truck. My 91 was similar and it took us to every state in the lower 48. Keep on trucking!

I remember Banff around 2005. It was idyllic. The last couple times I rolled through it was like this video. WAY too many people and people in the campground were stacked on top of each other. I much prefer Yoho and Kootenay. I think Tim mentions Golden.... not too far from Radium Hot Springs. That was a nice little place to chill.
Update: Woops... looks like a different "Golden". I thought he meant Golden BC.

I hope you making it where you are going, as you seem confused. After referring to Jasper as Banff multiple times, wasn't it odd to arrive in Banff? All of this was in BC, so it must have been extra confusing when you hit the BC border. Oh, and Golden BC isn't in Colorado. Oy! Lol. Just busting balls, loving the trip videos. And yes, Banff and Jasper are crazy full of tourists during the summer, and it's usually much worse due to international traveller. It's a great place to visit off season

Argh, gotta do a Canadian cross-country. I had a Canadian visa years ago but did a NY - LA instead but Canada looks much prettier in some aspects. Banff does remind me of a large version of Queenstown in New Zealand though.
