The no cold water after hypertrophy training is a new concept to me, and it makes total sense. Have started to hear a few people talk about the reasons why, it’s really interesting when considering how common an ice bath is post workout for athletes. Thank you guys for pushing out great content!
Well it’s simple, if you are taking a cold shower, your muscles will literally shrink. I remember when I did couple series of various push ups, realized I am late, eent to take a quick shower and after that shower I looked I didn’t ate for the whole day. Normal people go to work… no time for such things
Wake up earlier and go to sleep earlier
Huberman is very close to being neurotic in his approach to life. Worrying about what time you drink coffee at, get light in your eyes, eat your first meal, what your first meal is composed of etc etc would put any man bonkers.
Jesus you have to live life as well instead of just thinking about living it.
asking these questions and finding out the answers isnt neurotic, its intellectual curiosity.
nice projection either way, armchair psych.
@@booperdee2 Do you pull yourself off regularly to Andrew’s sage advice?
That’s my opinion on his approach to life, if you don’t agree with it, you can go fuck yourself sweet pea. Comprende?
once you develop the habits then theres nothing to think about
I think you might be on to something here brother/sister.
That's starting to be my feeling about Andrew as well...
Also because it seems as if something is chasing him. Its an energy thing, more than what he says.
What time is too early to drink coffee?
I've heard from him in order to prevent the crash of caffeine wait for an hour and a half to consume caffeine
@@justins5756 thanks!
For me I usually lay in bed for around 10 mins after waking up then after another 10 mins out of bed I will be on my way to the gym so i probably take 30-40 mins to work out but it'd be pretty much impossible to cut it by more than 5 mins. My routine on the weekends is laying in bed for an extra 30 mins just kind of letting my body wake up until i get hungry then I get out of bed.
Too early for coffee? When’s too early?
Naaaah, not all of us are morning people. Some of us night owls don't come alive till the afternoon. Exercise in the morning just fills me with dread
Excuses

I shit shower and shave just like I did in boot camp what’s wrong with that it’s not complicated
I'm in bed watching RUclips right now. 😬
What about now
But Jocko goes to bed at 6pm lol
Who has a Sauna in their house
Doesnt work to me
What not to do = wake up
Got it
I can't exercise in the morning n I tried and almost collapsed doing it. Gym works best for me in the night, after midnight.
Early morning workouts = less energy and strength, factual
