In this video, you can see the electricity consumption in 24 hours of LG 1.5 Ton Dual Inverter AC. We tested 1.5 Ton Inverter AC full day and night between 10AM to 10AM. You can see 6 hourly energy consumption readings and altogether too in the last. This is LG 1.5 Ton 4 Star Dual Inverter AC 2023 Model. Its cooling capacity is 5000w and it is suitable to average size rooms. Our room size is 144sqft with Tin shade roof top with PVC false ceiling. Appreciate your efforts and money spend in conducting this test. Conclusion is till 6 hrs running unit consumed @ 1 unit per hour. Then onwards unit consumed per hour starts decreasing. Hence longer you run bigger the savings.
No his testing is wrong, during the entire 24hrs outside temperature is changing so ac load will change, it will be less at night due to lower night temperature
Very Informative challenge. Please do the same 24hrs challenge again 1am-1am, start the AC at 1am when there's less ambient temperature. I want to know if it can maintain temperature in afternoon.

सर कृपया यह बताइए कि अपने जो टेस्टिंग की उसकी रूम कंडीशन कैसी थी, मतलब रूम प्रॉपर सील था एवं उसका दरवाजा लगभग कितनी बार खुला वा बंद हुआ, क्योंकि ac की परफॉर्मेंस और बिजली की खपत इस पर भी डिपेंड करती है।

what's the use of 80%, 60%, 40% efficiency mode. It will consume units of electricity equal to 100% efficiency because after maintaining Room temperature AC @ 100% efficiency will also consume very less units. Please confirm/Clarify
i think in 100% peak electricity consumption will be higher as compared to others at full load
40% will limit the cooling capacity of AC to its 40% capacity.
For example- Ac with 4000w capacity will be limited to 1600w so less power consumption if the rating is 5.10 then power consumption will be around 0.313 kw per hour. I hope that clears up your doubt.

This shows that inverter ac are so much power efficient then old technology ac. During night only 3 unit used. Now I can throw my cooler and use a ac to cool my room. What an amazing technology. I think if i use 8-10 hour uring night. Monthly not more than 1000 rs bill extra for Ac.

you can still consider it to eat up 6 units easily even if you use it at night. Because the compressor will work anyways at full load to bring the temp down initially once its down then it runs at lesser rpms to maintain cooling.
5Star benefits can only be obtained if you have usage of 10hrs+ a day.
I use daily 7-8 hrs and the bill came only Rs 800 for AC, more you use, more the power will be saved

My whole 3Bhk house is 1450 sqft my AC is installed in my 1st master bedroom of size 120sqft, i tested same thing for entire house keeping door open for all internal rooms and closing all exterior doors and windows. i turned on AC at 25 degree and within 3 hours my 1st room kitchen n dinning area where very much comfort cool 2nd room was okayish and 3rd room too .... Drawing hall temperature was 28.5 degree and all other room temperaature was 27.5 kictchen was close so recorded 26.5 and my room was at 25 degree ( outside temperature was 39 degree) my AC model is voltas 185v vertis windows 1.5 ton 5 star ( total energy consumed for 28 hours keeping all door open was = 13.68 unit ) - from jamshedpur city

How come after 12 hour running load and amps lower than after 18 hours and also 4PM to 10PM units consumed higher than after 18 hours with higher load and amps and also after 24 hours running load and amps is almost same as after 12 hours but units consumed half than after 12 hours.
In short units consumed are not proportion to watt x amps?
AC means super luxury.. you have to pay for that😂
This is how I use my 1.5 ton 3 star Carrier inverter AC. I turn on the AC around 12 PM at 26 degree Celsius, leave it like that for an hour until the room gets cold. Then I turn on the ceiling fan at speed 1 and leave it like that till sunset and then increase AC temperature to 27 degree and leave it like that till 4 AM. It hardly consumes 10 units a day (that includes my 2 star 260ltr fridge which runs 24*7, microwave oven, electric kettle, ceiling fans on other rooms, lights, exhaust fans on kitchen and bathroom, washing machine etc). You need to learn how to maximum advantage of an inverter AC if you want to stay cool and save money at the same time.

Stabilizer itself uses electricity so it will definitely have a power consumption.
Please do a test for 8 hrs at 26 degrees. Because this is the temp at which we use AC at night
