    Points discussed in this videos are
    1.set your ac between 25-27 degree
    2.check steblizer output supply
    3.bill depends on ambient temperature if necessary make shade to cover ac from direct sunlight
    4.Use sleep mode to save power
    5.Clean filters periodically every 10-15 days
    6.Use ceiling fan with ac it will circulate air in room

    Using Hitachi DC inverter 1.5 TON AC since the summer of 2018 in the hot and humid climate of Mumbai, where temperatures reach upto 43 degrees. It's been installed in the living room of 170 sq. ft. in size which has multiple doors windows and an entry to kitchen with just a curtain and still it cools in 3 to 4 minutes. I always set the temperature on 28 degrees and it gets cool in minutes. I get the AC professionally cleaned thrice a year and i also clean the filters within 100 hours of operation. Using a fan simultaneously hampers the cooling in my case.

    One major thing u miss and that is proper packing Or sealing of room and also maintain close doars(normally in day time room's door are frequently opening), this also helps acs to work properly, believe me it's a major point,i faced lot of electricity bill issues, because of not proper sealed room, all ac users have to focus on this.

  • @sakleo8
    @sakleo8 2 года назад +22

    The 27 degree recommendation is valid when maybe we have 50 degrees outside, what you are not even considering is the fact the the AC unit measures the temperature using its Thermostat and in most ACs you can check that if you set 25 degrees on the AC, the compressor will keep cutting off even though the room temperature is 28 degrees. Please measure the room temperature using a room thermometer and it will open your eyes.

    • @sakleo8
      @sakleo8 11 месяцев назад +1

      @@sanjaygupta9032 Yes and low energy consumption translates into 1.5 ton AC working like a 1 ton one. This will not happen in places like North India where temperature goes to 48 degrees. In monsoons when outside temperature is lower keeping AC at 26 degrees is as good as turning it off

  • @KirkLazurus
    @KirkLazurus 2 года назад +8

    I would like to add to the kitne pe chalae to kitna bill aye point.
    After using 5.2 ISEER inverter ac for 1 year I have experienced 1 very important thing that no one mentions, there is no one ideal temp which will get ac to cool effectively and use less electricity. Its all relative to outside temp. I constantly track my AC power usage using a power meter so I have live data and this helped me get this insight
    Lets take example where during morning 11AM outside temp is 42-43C. In this case I am having to run AC at 28C during day time and like that it is using around 800 watts to cool a 240+Sq ft room. Now running at 28C AC compressor is running at around 80% of compressors rated power and blowing nice cold air to cool down room from 32C. In evening times it drops to around 650-700. So approx .75 units per hour.
    In same scenario If I drop the temp to 27C during 42C day time power usage shoots up to 1-1.1KW at 26 it becomes 1.3-1.4KW and it actually starts to feel uncomfortable and cold since now compressor is running at close to 100% rated capacity in 27C case and close to 120%(expandable range) in 26C case. I also use fan to keep room air circulated. So with just 1C drop you will add a lot of unit per hour to bill. Your compressor will run at different capacity depending on outside temp and the coolness of air indoor unit blows depends on how hard compressor is running.
    At night time when temp is around 30-32C during current summer months, I use 2 AC's 1 @ 23C 1 @ 24C and both use 750-800 at start and then within 15 minutes drop to 550-650W and they blow less cold air vs when AC is being set to 28C during day time since compressor is not having to work as hard. Obviously if you run AC at 26C at night it will consume even less.
    So how low you run your AC temp and how much cold air it blows and how cold the room feels is all down to the outside temp. There is not one ideal temp that gives best blend of power saving and cooling be it 3* or 5* AC.
    During March April in 33-35C day time scenario I used to run AC at 25-26C and the power usage barely cracked 680W during days times and dropped down to 560-580W during evening and still room was as cold as when I run AC at 28C on a 43C day.
    During humid months last year at night I have run AC at 19C and it still ran at around 550W and dropped to 330-370W for 2-3 hours in late night.
    One more point to save electricity: Use the room temp sensor in ac or AC remote to your advantage. This is for those 40C+ days.
    If indoor room temp is 30+ then rather than setting ac to desired temp from the get go set AC to max temp setting of 30 or higher if your AC supports it.
    Most AC's drop temp to 1C lower than set temp so for eg, room temp 33C switch on AC at 30C let room temp drop to 29C then when 29C is achieved drop temp to 28C and so on.
    Let room temp drop to 30 and then start dropping temp by 1C and wait for that to drop and then proceed till you feel comfy. This process only takes 12-15 minutes to bring room temp to desired temp.
    This will help save 1-1.5 unit depending on your AC in the 1st hour on seriously hot days. As you all know pehle ghante me subse zyada power consume krta hai inverter AC to bring temp down.

    I think top floor mein Ceiling fan nahi chalana chahiye kyuki wo room me garam Hawa circulate krega or a.c ko jyada time lagega desire Temperature per aane mein.
