I like the approach of having it like in Legends Arceus where you can manually trigger the evolution. Definitely fits into Minecraft the best!

such a nice feature, also love how you can choose the evolution if you could have 2 different ones like with the special cobblemon torterra evolutions. Even tho you gave it the specific item you get a preview and all.

That is genuinely such a satisfying effect, especially with the celebratory pop at the end for the reveal.
This update had my jaw dropping all along the way. And another epicly fun video down! Hope y'all enjoy!

This mod doesn't stop giving me happines man, what a lovely animation. The cobblemon team is making of every moment a lovely one for those of us who love pokemon, thanks guys, you are incredible!!!

@@ningold8415 If that's so, I'd love to know who!!! But if I'm not mistaken there are a few people working on the animations, models and trailers. Thats what I got from the discord server, but I'm not really sure!

Cobblemon evolving like digimon (spin animation) is fitting for a virtual pet/monster catching mod. Also golurk evo goes hard af in deep dark
I had loads of fun acting inside the trailer! Amazing sounds and even more amazing visuals! Can't wait to see what we may "Evolve" into!! ♥♥

I like how the models are actually blocky like everything else, Pixelmon just spiraled and became simply too much imo. This looks like absolute peak and I will try it out

I hope that they'll add a sparkle effect or blue star next to the names of shinies (so many of my friends are new to Pokemon and learning through cobblemon and they don't know what are shiny and what's normal)

The subtle wave to the fact they still don't have a Pokedex by making it a Book is kinda funny. I really hope the dex comes soon as well!!

I absolutely love this update, it looks incredible! I think it would be really cool to have a ui design and pokedex overhaul at some point in the future, considering how developed this mod is starting to become!!!

This is peak, pixelmon was good, was.
Pixelmon is still leagues ahead, but Cobblemon will catch up eventually no doubts. Pixel has had years of dominance with no opposite, now Cobbledevs are slowly working their way towards that same place

@@TheNightman. I wouldn't say LEAGUES ahead. The unique Pokemon mechanics like Megas and Tera are yet to be implemented on Cobblemon, but most of the other features are already here and done much better than Pixelmon ever did. This evolution itself destroyed whatever the heck is that Pixelmon evolution

Currently pixelmon is winning by amount of content just because it exist way longer, but overal quality of content is low.

Wish we stayed in 1.20.1, but with Cobblemon being such an expansive mod I think the lack of mods on 1.21.1 won't be an issue

For a second I thought this was for mega evolution, but this is still extremely cool!
I think that the mod should have a more immersive UI to pair up with the rest of the visuals

Honestly, Pokemon Arceus inspired so many features that really made Pokemon more suitable for minecraft, and I am happy Cobblemon is taking full advantage of that.

I would like it even more if you would add flying and riding on some pokemons
Bring Cobblemon to Minecraft Bedrock, it would be so much fun to be able to play this amazing mode
A bedrock version is not planned
Maybe its time for me to switch to Fabric or Neoforge next time i play...
