Reminds me of Ms. Pacman. Ms Pacman was basically a romhack of the original Pacman, it wasn't officially commissioned by Namco and they were mad about it when it happened. It kinda sorta reminds me of that cos of the guy working for the big company (Gan) and then breaking off and making his own company and cubes by modifying the Gan design, just like Ms. Pacman was a modified Pacman game Though it only works if it's better than the Gan cubes. Because Ms. Pacman is the best Pacman game. Yeah, an unofficial romhack that Namco these days tries to hide it and make it seem like it never existed, was the best Pacman game, everyone agrees to that Also download a genesis/mega drive emulator and search Google for a rom of Ms. Pacman for genesis. It's the best Pacman game because unlike the arcade version of ms Pacman which only had 4 levels which just repeated forever, the genesis version has hundreds of levels. And it just plays really well. It's addictive
i'm with you on that i'm super sick of loose cubes being all over the place. let me tighten it until it locks guys ; p i actually use GAN 356M yellow nuts in my XS for this reason.
Great video, thanks for the time you spend doing these for our benefit. On a personal note, I’ve just gone from a Gan X to the 11 and love the new cube.
Big big fan of the super in depth video. Was really considering getting it for a cheaper gan cube but now I’ll wait for some more reviews before making a decision. Great video!
Excellently paced and structured review Shawn. I was going to skip to the end timestamps but thought I'd see your opening remarks and ended up watching the whole thing at 1x speed. :) I agree about the TengYun V1 being better despite owning a V2. In fact regarding the V2, I still prefer the "simpler" RS3 M 2020 over it as it's simply more reliable and easier to handle under pressure.
Hey Shawn, this is somewhat off topic, but I just got a Rubik's connected today, and the white center piece has a catching issue. The center stays still while the other pieces move around it, and the turn doesn't get registered. Please help me fix this
Awesome video boss. Id like to know what folks thoughts are on the future of cubing in regards to design. Im new and it seems that it’s attempts at reinventing the wheel, you know what I mean?
A lot of people were saying that in the Zhanchi days, and then the AoLong days. There always seems like no where to go until someone makes something that works better.
Thanks Shawn. I ordered mine the moment it was released and it's been sitting there unadjusted because I couldn't figure out the tensioning system and no one had explained it yet. Quick question. For my next cube would you recommend the Valk 3 M or the Weilong GTS3 M?
To clarify, the scramble isn't going to be that long but having a solution that is at least that long. From what I understand it has to do with the programing. The odds are you will never have a scramble that short so programing the computer to filter those out would take a lot of processing.
i have 2.5 questions! 1. ther Rubik's cube is solvable in 20 moves. okey, but in what move cout style? (HTM, QTM,STM or ETM?) 2. is the cube theoretically solvable in one move wehn we count with ETM or Did i understand ETM Wrong (As far as I know, ETM is a move when it is regripless!)
That is using the half turn metric. (HTM) There are "scrambles" that are solvable in one move but WCA scrambles must be at least 2 moves away so you won't see that in a competition. For fewest moves there have been scrambles under 20 which is why the world record is 16 right now.
So any puzzle will work. I would suggest either getting the RS3 2020 for under $10 or get the SpeedCubeReview edition at SpeedCubeShop which is fully set up with additional magnets added.
Have you watched Cyoubx's video on the MsCube? He says it's actually 5 distance settings and 2 spring settings (multiplied by 3 spring sets). The more videos I watch about this cube, the more I am confused. Which is distance, which is elasticity, it's such a mess!
He might be talking about the distance the spring is compressed but it is 100% 5 different compressions of the spring and 2 different distance settings of the center piece (Like what a screw does in most puzzles.)
@@SpeedCubeReview he specifically states it's the other way around! That's what bothers me because both you and Cyoubx are pretty thorough in reviewing stuff. And I don't feel like buying this cube just to figure it out myself, lol.
This cube's spring compression and center piece travel adjustment system is really confusing. I already ordered an enhanced version, if it feels anything like a Valk Elite I will probably like it.
Same, but for some who might be new it is important to go over as there would undoubtably be comments "Why does it look like a Gan puzzle." That is why I don't spend much time on it either.
We gotta show this man some respect how dedicated he is to making these amazing well edited videos
dang I recorded my Ms3-v1 unboxing yesterday lmao, excited to watch this video Shawn!
Forever calling this Ms. Cube
I kept accidentally typing McCube

Your shorts are really good. Keep up the good work! This video was really well edited as well!
Thank you
Thanks for such a detailed review! Exactly what I was waiting for. Glad I waited to hear from you before jumping on the hype early.
More excellent content from SCR. This is the best review of the MS Cube out rn. Period.
Man, I just can not wait
Thank you for leaving the mic on during the solves so that we can hear how noisy the cube is!

Thank you for this interesting Ted Talk. Always appreciate your honest opinion without sugarcoating.
Love these type of reviews
I hope you'll get 100k subscribers this year! I think you will
Amazing review...really appreciate the honesty and dedication...
Hello present again for another video❤️
Big fan of the shorts
I played the video and it fixed my left earbud thank you

When will the black plastic version be released?
Why have u not been going live on Sunday’s!!!
That was when I was finishing Roux. I might do more Livestreams in the future but at the moment I do not have time.
This is amazing

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

MoYu
Planning to get a enhanced ms cube
do i understud the "WCA scramble rules" rigt?
2x2 have to be at least 4 move long
and 5x5 6x6 and 7x7 two mves long?
Yup. 😂
To clarify, the scramble isn't going to be that long but having a solution that is at least that long. From what I understand it has to do with the programing. The odds are you will never have a scramble that short so programing the computer to filter those out would take a lot of processing.
@@SpeedCubeReview but theoretically if some one geht a 2 move scramble in 7x7 and solve it in like 2 seconds thad would be the official wca Wr?
Yes
Shaun I like the shorts but I would prefer if you would do it less often
I refrain from anymore than one per day and usually restrict them to not come out when a larger video is released.

Or according to Google Stand up when you're not happy with ETM!
That is using the half turn metric. (HTM)
There are "scrambles" that are solvable in one move but WCA scrambles must be at least 2 moves away so you won't see that in a competition. For fewest moves there have been scrambles under 20 which is why the world record is 16 right now.
Would You reccomend buying the Tengyun V2 M over the MScube-V1? I just can't figure it out
What do you have now and why don't you like it?
@@SpeedCubeReview I have a Rubik's brand😭 and want a good mid-range puzzle

Oh and I really appreciate your work in providing people with information
Not sure I'm gonna get this cube

Check the video ;)
@@SpeedCubeReview which will you recommend dayan tengyun m or ms3 v1 ?
I go over some recommendations at the end. It depends on the feeling you are looking for. I use FCPX
@@SpeedCubeReview hmm
Helloooo
Will both of them be good for ROUX method users?
Check what I say in the video ;) During my thoughts after the solves
Please show fast f2l tricks .I am slow in it.
Remember that efficiency is often more important. Notice some of the shorts videos for some odd cases.
Ok. Thanks .I will practice regularly.
do you think more people should make cubing chanels
I think people should make things they enjoy making.
Air m or ms3-v1

100% what I say is correct. After taking the entire cube apart and changing springs what I say is how the tensioning works.
This cube's spring compression and center piece travel adjustment system is really confusing. I already ordered an enhanced version, if it feels anything like a Valk Elite I will probably like it.
