Just come across this video. I've had this same exact kit for a good few years now and it's still complete all except one drill bit. The plastic finders I've never used and actually never knew what they were, but now I do. Enjoyed the vid 🤙🏼🤙🏼

I use this kit every single week but I'm on my 3rd one because I keep losing, breaking or wearing out the bits 🤣🤣🤣
@@JimmyTheMower lol. My only complaint is the collets. When you tighten the grub screw in,the further you tighten,the sticker it gets. Sometimes it's been easier to use a bit of tape wrapped round the bit. I've just watched you're vid unboxing DeWalt drill/grinder. You have yourself a new subscriber. Local too, 😉
I've got tons of videos on here and plenty of dewalt ones.
I got myself a dewalt multi tool and done a video on the detail sander.
As for drilling, a bit of tape always wins out.
Brilliant. Needed to drill a hole for the cold water feed on my washer. Didn't know how to use the hole cutters with the Arbor bit...but now I do👍

Great vid thanks, just ordered one as a result. My understanding is that the plastic finders sit like a collar on the long driver bits and then help to keep the screw in place while driving. Never used one in my life!

When you say driver, do you mean an impact driver?
I just got an Makita impact driver DTD152 and I'm trying to figure out how relevant this 101 bit set is for me. Can most of these bits be used on Makita Impact DTD152?
Yes, especially the long shank ones, they just fit right in.
Most of the other bits fit with the included adapter.
But please don't try and use the drill bits or hole saw with an impact driver, you need a combi drill for that 👍

Why no drill size for brown raw plugs. I use 7 and 8 mm most
I never actually noticed that.
I tend to use the Dewalt sets, they don't have a spirit level but do they do have some extra drill bits.

No, just a normal one.

Does anyone know what the round collets are for
The collets are for setting the depth on a drill bit.
Simply select the correct size for the drill bit you are using then slide it over and tighten it up at the depth required.
It's easier to do in real life than explain in a message 🤣🤣🤣
