Omg brooo!! I been searching everywhere to find a nice build like this for my Tacoma. You made this install so EPIC bro! Wow! Just wow!!! You did an amazing job.
Man my setup has been done in my 09 Tacoma since 2013 and I have an extra kinetic battery in the amp rack under the rear seat. 2 kicker comp Rt 12s behind the rear seat my amps are kicker csa1200.1 and a csa400.4 kicker front row processer with all kicker components in front and rear doors. Had the rear component tweeters installed in the rear door panel exactly like the front door panels. It all looks factory. I love that when you get into my truck you have no clue I have a system. I am a 50yr old car audio nut from back when it started. So I am as picky as it comes to install and sound quality.
come to think of it, that poly cutting board will likely reduce a lot of road vibrations. that's a great idea man! i have a TW3 in a sealed box, and am swapping it out for a dual sub box soon, so i'll need to re-locate my 5 ch amp. may do this method but only on one side of rear passenger tray. very cool, clean install. love it.
Could you do a run down of how you wired the rca cables to both amps ? I’m having trouble finding out how to go from the head unit to my subwoofer amp and my speaker amp
Looks killer dude, do you have measurements for the plate you mounted the amps too? About to do an install similar to yours and was going to mount my amps in a similar way as well
Looks good man. I’m thinking about redoing my stereo and mounting the amps in a similar way. I’ve got them in the back with the subs now, but I need that space to build a bigger box. I’ll check out the rest of your videos later on.
Dude your sub build series is LITERALLY what inspired me to make my sound system videos! I appreciate it man! Make an update video on it when you get started!
@@FloGarage Haha! Funny how that happens. It’ll be a bit before I work on it. Gotta work on an enclosure for a Silverado and redo my wife’s Accord stereo. What are the dimensions of your amps? I want to see if I can fit my amps in there first so I don’t have to get new ones.
@@AyyJayy02 my sub amp is 7.5x11.5x2 inches and my 4 channel is 7.75x9x2 inches. Them sitting side by side is 21”. If you set up the power cables a little different, it’ll free up some for longer amps. The max width is about 7.75 for the amps. It gets pretty tight. Especially if the interfaces for the wiring is on the side like the audiocontrol
@@FloGarage My amps might still work then. I’d like to move the audio processor there too, but we’ll see. It’ll be a good while. I’m glad I was able to inspire you to do your videos. The DIY stuff is always cool to me. Keep it up. I subscribed to your channel.
Sorry if it’s already been mentioned. I see this system requires a significant amount of power. How is it that your able to produce enough power for all these speakers? Have you swapped the alternator or something? Looking to go a similar approach is all. Thanks!
Disregard. You answered my question at the end. My mistake for not watching all the way to the end. Excellent planning. Thank you as this will be what I will be doing to my Tacoma.
How did you figure out how to run 2 amps on a factory stereo? Do you have the non jbl or do you have the jbl setup? So did you just figure out what is the speaker wire hardness on the stereo and cut the hardness and just added another set of wires and then replug it in?
The speakers are 2 ohm 500 watts RMS each. They’re also dual voice coils. I have them wired in a way to be 2 ohms for both. The amp is rated at 1000 watts RMS @ 2 ohms
Awesome 👏🏻 loved the video. Keep ‘em comin. Going forward 1 suggestion: don’t use term ghetto for part of bad/sloppy job. Many might find that racist and offensive.
Clean install bro you have great craftsmanship

Nice job!
You need a fuse on that 0-gauge too!!!!!!!!!!
The 0 gauge power wire wasn’t installed on the system yet. Part 3 has the power wire with the fuse
@@FloGarage I apologize sir! Didn't make it that far yet.
@@commonsense3505 all good!
Well done... wish my old G1 Tacoma had space under the seat... but with my new G3 Tacoma... i plan to follow your layout.

It looks very well done what a build I'm impressed

You actually can use tap into the rear door speakers. It’s a lot easier to do that than the head unit.
did an amp rack under my 17 crew cab colorado, definitely the way to go for a lot of crew cabs with no room behind the seat
Exactly what I have been looking for! Great idea and looks great.
bro that crisp and Clean AF
Man, that's a killer job
Clean install..looking good!
You are a genius. That looks really good.
Looks clean, can’t wait for the sound

Heat will reduce the efficiency of the amplifier. You can use the cooling system and change your installation location. I am Hossein from Iran. ❤

Clean. Nice work.
I had to give you a sub for this...and im sorry i will be copying this build lolol
Looks good 👍
im assuming using the D-4.800 allows you to ditch the factory amps?
J.s man . You can get 100 wood inserts for 10$ and use a star bit . That kit you got is high$
Good stuff, keep it up man.
Hey.
What volyme on the headunit ist
distorsion ??? 46 45 ?
Looks great!
Seems like enough space for a small stealthy type box too
Great video.
Have you had any problems with overheating so far with this install?
Disregard. You answered my question at the end. My mistake for not watching all the way to the end. Excellent planning. Thank you as this will be what I will be doing to my Tacoma.
@@TMouse-hd5jb you’re good! Since the install, I have not had any overheating issues. Even during the summer when it’s 110 degrees outside!
@@FloGarage, that is great news since I live in a similar temperature zone. Thank you for the reply!

Looks amazing , but I got a question for ya , how you gonna tune that JL amp , all your adjustments are on the inside
Damn, that's a baller amp setup!
Some braided loom over your wires would also help protect them. Looks really good so far
very nice and clean !!but we want to hear the sistem!!do u think I can do it in second gen?
Thank you! I’m pretty sure that you’ll be able to do this to a second gen. They’re very similar to each other as far as structure.
I’m also about to upload the wiring video and I have a little sound demo on that!
where’d you get the t harness from?
Any heat issues being under the seat?
Sir amplifier links plz
Hey man I want you to build me the same box I will pay you !?!?
good job bro but that amp is 1000.1
