  • A fishing video of an afternoon session on the River Dee where i'm trotting with the stick float to see if catch any nice chub, dace and grayling to build a decent weight in just a few hours. This was actually the fourth video of a series on this stretch of the River Dee at Bangor, and i'd decided on a previous video to remain in this swim for a whole session feeding consistently with maggot, caster and hemp to target all river fish in general including chub, dace, grayling, roach and trout. Nice video not fished the dee in a few years but fished it a lot over the years, nice net of dace, one thing i would say re the video and this is just from a viewers point of view, the premiere is primarily there for you to interact with people who watch videos as its playing in the live chat so would been nice to ask questions while its playing matey , tight lines

Dannys Angling Blog Hi Danny, thanks for your comments. It's a cracking little stretch that I used to fish as a kid and I've gone back to fishing it this last year and really enjoyed it. Obviously, this session was a little earlier in the year when the weather was warmer. Re the premier facility, I didn't actually know that, I just saw the button and pressed it 😂. I thought it was something to do with advance notice. Feel free to ask if you have any questions tho. 👍

Hi Tony, yes its a club water Huyton AA, but there are also a couple of other stretches close by with Warrington AA and both clubs are relatively cheap to join. If you like this video take a look at some of the others in the series or check them out on the blog www.thinkfish-catchfish.com i think the day tickets are at Farndon bridge about a mile away. good fishing all along that stretch.

@@MrBarbigo Hi Tony, yes believe it or not its the same Huyton. I was actually a member of Huyton AA as a junior member 30 years ago when i first fished this place. The club only has a few members left but they have held this water for over 100 years apparently. Speak to Ken in Prescot angling and he can give you more info
