Alex Lopez is a surfer and surfboard shaper currently out of Oceanside, California. Alex is humble man who, although still early in his shaping career, knows his way around a planer. His father, Gerry Lopez, is an icon of surfing, known for his laid back style and critical wave riding at the Pipeline.
Alex's surfboards have beautiful, timeless curves and outlines. The fins we've been working on hope to align the beauty with function and let the boards shape do the talking. A twin set and a couple of single fins are in the testing mix, and we're already grinding into round 2 revisions.
