Awesome concept for a shot - would love some of those sanders.
Work ethic!
Bla bla bla When the waves are pumping like in these scenes you can ride just about any old thing and rip it. These techy emasculated guy's are ridiculous 🙄
So whats the point beside looking interesting ? seriously, what does this fancy fins give that a regular fin setup does not? Yeah, yeah, he pushes the boundaries but outcome is no different than any other regular surfboard ?
Man he talked for like 10 minutes straight about that
Soo, is the add for a quad or a thruster?
9 minutes of yapping from this guy is much appreciated!
Basically saying the paddle fin went right back where they found it, in the trash can. Go smoke another joint, you do not know what your talking about.
There needs to be stronger psilocybin micro dosing to focus towards the design of asymmetrical paddle fins with magnets to levitate and propel off the iron in salt water. Good luck with wave pool fresh water 😅😅
This is So Rad 😊

DOG LOVER IS A GREAT SURFER.......76OLD TOMMYTSUNSETBEACH1970TO1980.
Best shaper and best fins. Best combo ever
i had a idea for a gull wing rail that acts like a keel when the board is on edge but is like a finless board when the board is flat on the water....not sure if it would be any better than having 2 small fins on a board with a bit of camber so they can lift out of the water
Did Will ever get a new RV lol?
Great human.
Had the fortunate opportunity to buy a used asymmetrical picklefork and it went MENTAL ....... to this day I regret selling it!
Like his understanding of fins, hydro-dynamics and shaping. If he could simply stop talking like a valley girl, it would be much easier to listen to what he has to say. It's f&*king irritating.

Honestly, the boards don't look pretty, they don't inspire me. Although I did see a Derek Disney 'new fish of sorts' at OB-SD, and that looked interesting,… angular rail, nice outline.
To each their own, but his boards + fin theories work. Based off his knowledge passed along from generations of shapers. Disney learned a lot from Burch

Very interesting 🙏🏽
That rnf looks over finned but still goes great
They like must like be super like good like super like stoked to like try them like out!!
I think they gonna be like something similar to like an old paddle fin with like a little better ability to handle juicy surf

Super cool... Makes me want to give it a try!
looks sick cant wait to try one!
Mine wouldn't fit into the box
Larmo and Kenson. I’ve got both. Finally tested in good surf in El Sal and loved em.
Voice audio is too low. Diamonds on the tips of fins sounds expensive though
look so good 🤙🔥
Yewww! Dad boards are the best! 🤘🏻
Dad board to go with that dad goatee.
Always loved twins back in the day but moved on after awhile. Rediscovered them about 5 years ago and love them again. I recently added a couple FCS plugs to a 3 year old twin that I liked and as a twinzer it’s even faster and better backside. Can’t believe it took me so frikkin long to do this.
NOTE: See excellent advice in first comment on this page by gdaddy and his replies to me on using a modified FCS Fusion box for canards instead of FCS plugs.
Short board with flat rocker, wide point forward, dual pivot points, ridden with power and flow!
Looks cool but a lil sluggish
How does it ride different from a twin fin set up?
That's looks likes 50 cones latter, definitely going to perform like it , better off flogging foils , that's were you need to be at
Twinzers were 30 years ago
And they are still awesome today.
Twinzers got a lot of attention among the design geeks about 10 years ago. They really are the solution for surfing a twin on your backside. The trick is sizing the main fin appropriately for the tail width and the weight of the surfer. Speaking of, Bing did an alt design called the Synchronizer that was set up to use ~6 different fin setups from thruster to quad to 2+1 and twinzer. One of the combos was a small keel + twinzer leader. The board design never caught on but the keel+leader turned out to be the best combo for fishes and other fat assed boards. Drivey enough to control the additional surface area of a 19" tail without being twitchy on the back side. An earlier example is/was the Michael Eaton Zinger; he (and AC Elliott) did a Bonzer bottom with a pair of the front runners from a Bonzer-4 set + a pair of high-aspect fins (like 7") mounted in the short Bahne boxes. The front runners are a lot larger than a twinzer leader, which when combined with the deep channels made the midlength designs great for the long carve and top end speed but too sticky for the pivoting surfing style of the shortboards. The design point is that the leader breaks up the flow and puts more water over the leading edge of the main fin. The channel between the fins (allegedly) creates a higher pressure zone over the main fin. One aspect of Caro's use of the twinzer that I appreciate is he is using FCS plugs for the leader and the Fusion box for the mains. That's a much stronger combo than using the triangular Future plug for the leader. Future really screwed that design up, those plug installs commonly failed.
I use FCS plugs for the canards too. I didn’t know Futures even made a plug type??
@@joeblow1942 You're better off not knowing, but I'll tell you anyway. They call it their C-5 plug. It's triangular in shape and was intended to be used for adding little leaders to the side fins of a thruster setup. But twinzer leaders are a lot larger in size and put more stress into the plugs. Everyone I know who has used them for a twinzer has lost fins or the plugs have rolled under stress.
The better install (IMO) than the old FCS plugs is to cut a Fusion box in half and round the corner around the cut. If there's any overlap between the Fusion box for the main and the single plug for the side you can install the main box first and then trim the "plug" to fit the curve. That way you can get the correct spacing and gap between fin/leader. The high density foam in the Fusion collars more closely matches the flex characteristics of the blanks. That's where plug installs more commonly fail - the plastic doesn't flex as much as the blank.
@@gdaddy7096 Great tip! Didn’t think of that. Thanks!
@@gdaddy7096 Thanks for the tips!
