Guys, you've literally just chosen the absolute worst time of year to visit this park. I know as busy as this year is for you both given your upcoming wedding, you have to go when you can go but trust me, next time try and do Hong Kong in the Fall or even Christmas, Christmas is breathtaking Shawn, you'd love it. It's worth pointing out, Hong Kong Disneyland is best visited in the Fall and winter. This is when you'll find higher attendance but still not on the level we're accustombed to at Orlando and California. Shannan and I prefered Christmas at the park or even into January and February when it can actually lean toward the cool side. Temp ranges 15-25°C with far less chance of rain but if temperate and settled is what you're looking for September to November you can count on 24-30°C with lower humidity and brighter skies.
Thanks for sharing! We wanted to visit now as it worked best for our plans, especially as we were already in Asia visiting many other parks. It was hot, but we still had a great time!
What a gorgeous park!! The Frozen land there LOOKS the best, with best rides at DisneySea.
25:15 The music playing in the park made this moment so sweet. Shawn checking on Charlotte. And her response.
Thank you!
Great vlog as always guys ❤
Thank you for coming along with us!
😊
Love a great Disney vlog. ❤️
Thanks for joining us!
Love the screaming on the teacups! 😂😂😂
Everyone was loving it 😂
I saw you in the hyperia queue today! It was a pleasure to meet you!
Hope you had a great day. Lovely to see you!
Splash Zone during the show - brilliant idea 35:09
Did you guys know the Head of Disney imagineering who designed and was responsible for the Frozen areas in Hong Kong and Paris, is an man called Michel den Dulk. Who started at Efteling in 2001 and was responsible for the beautiful fairytale 'the little match girl' in the fairtytale forest?
Thanks for sharing!
@@ThemeParkWorldwide And very unknown little fact: he told in an interview he hid an easter egg in the souvenirwinkel Tick Tock Toys & Collectibles in the Frozen area. Somewhere on top of a cabinet, between other decorations, there is a jesterfigure to be found, that looks suspiciously like Pardoes... He admitted it was a little nod to Efteling. (Pardoes is to be found in a Frozen area on the other side of the world!!!lol)
Now I have that tune in my head 11:44
Glad you guys had a good time! Definitely showed why it's worth coming to visit :) what a memorable trip you guys have had 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thank you for joining us!

Wow one last park to come. It's been an amazing series this Asia trip! It's been incredible
Thank you so much!
I can't believe the attendance is so low in that park but the still put some really cool attractions in that park.
Definitely. There’s some awesome attractions here to enjoy!
Amazing video ❤❤❤

Love it! POV coming up in the vlog!
Another great vlog 👍🏻
Thank you!
Hk disney is so underwhelming id never do such a long flight n deal w the heat for this
I was there in February, and it was fantastic. There are two other major theme parks in that area, so I would say it's 100% worth it.
@@bb97000 ok who’s paying. Lmaoo
It’s a great resort still, with some fantastic attractions!
Loving the whale fountain 0:34
Brilliant vlog
Thank you!
Hi 👋 Shawn and Charlotte
Thanks for watching!
Great Day Two Vlog from Hong Kong 🇭🇰 Disneyland Shawn and Charlotte
Thank you so much!
@@ThemeParkWorldwide you are welcome
Nice tribute to Fantasia 13:55
Never seen so many people using umbrellas in the sun. A visual testament to the heat.
It was crazy just how hot it was here!
Nice seeing my favorite park with you all. I know what you mean on feel. Though coming from Tokyo... World class in it's own. What usual "nice enough" go to USA Disneys.
Thanks for watching! We had a great time!
You should visit Death Valley sometime. It's not humid but boy is it hot. There's no theme parks there but it such a beautiful place.
Would love to!
I found that the best Disney cast members are in Tokyo and Shanghai. Bottom tier was Hong Kong and Paris. Not "bad", but no Disney spark.
Definitely agree with this!
Hi shaun im going to europa park in Germany on Wednesday
I would love to go to Europa Park
Have an amazing time!
Merry Christmas theme park worldwide
@@Hans_Eriksson94 merry Christmas to you
It’ll soon be Christmas 😂
The Lion King show will transform into a villain show during the Halloween period. It is the top notch among Disney Parks for years. You gotta go enjoy it later
That’s awesome!
Looks fun! This park could certainly use a few splash/water rides! They could easily be Disney themed! It would add to the uniqueness of the park also. I could not deal with that heat. We went to Disney Orlando about 10 years ago at the end of July early August and it was a huge mistake. The heat caused my teen son to have bad headaches and it was so crazy busy it was hard to get into places and rides with AC. We cut our visit short and was able to add on a few extra days at the beach on the second half. It was like 105 the days we were there and humidity wasn’t factored in. Glad you had fun! Looking forward to your last park!
I love love to see a major water ride here. Especially when it’s that hot!
You would be amazed how you would acclimatise if you live in HK for a while. Used to survive in UK without a coat until end of September. Now when I visit even in July/Aug I need a coat as now just feels too cold for me 😂
I was expecting a bad review from the Antman ride, surprised they liked it! Wasn't a fan of it myself
I liked how different it was!
All following Disney parks covered:
- Florida
- Tokyo
- Hong Kong
Remaining Disney parks to cover:
- Shanghai
- California
- Paris
I haven't forgotten about your "visiting all the Disney Parks in 2024" as you mentioned back before or during your Florida trip.
They’ll all be coming up throughout the rest of 2024!
Saw you guys in the Rita queue on Sunday! You were with friends and off camera so didn't want to bother you but hope you had a great day!
Hope you had a great time!
Looking forward to this day 2 vlog
Enjoy!
How are you finding the food shaun??
We got on quite well as there’s always the usual theme park options available!
I remember during your first visit to Hong Kong, you crossed paths with Elsa as she walked through the castle into Fantasyland, and now it has happened again.
Love those special moments!
😮 your sunburned ! Where is your 🧴 sunscreen
Love catching those rays, but it was so hot here!
You tell them Charlotte 41:05
Choo Choo Time 26:03
Do you think you’ll be at HHN Orlando this year?
Stay tuned for our future trip plans!
Hey guys you going Anywhere else where there will be more Roller coasters guys before home 🤔🤔
We’re heading to Shanghai Disneyland for the final part of the trip!
Hi Theme Park Worldwide. Have you heard that Disney are cutting out International Guests from the new Disney multi pass system. Disappointing for us UK visitors to WDW Orlando, finding out that all the fast passes will have already been booked in advance by US citizens only.
It’s a shame to hear. Hopefully this will be changed!
I would absolutely love getting into rollercoasters, but my height keeps stopping me! Is there anyone that does shortening procedures?
How is it visiting parks with a significant other? It looks absolutely magical
I’d recommend starting off with smaller coasters and building up gradually to larger rides!
@@ThemeParkWorldwide oh it's not that. Over the shoulder restraints get stuck on my shoulders preventing me from pulling them down completely.
I’m not making excuses but Hong Kong Disney is totally different to other Disney parks in that the majority owner is the Hong Kong government maybe due to this the same attention to detail and staff interaction standards and expectations are not enforced or required by the management. In saying that it’s still a great park and a joy to visit.
well, the other main factor is the culture itself, being accommodating is not part of the culture anyway.
We had a great time still, really enjoyed getting on all of the awesome attractions here
Hidden Mickey at 4:13. Comes in from the right side of the screen.
Love it!
Why do you think it's such low attendance? Such a great clean park, on my bucket list for sure, thanks for sharing your adventures.
I think it’s a mix between location and lack of investment in the past. Luckily this has started to change with new projects!
When it first opened the locals thought it was too expensive for what was there and that their beloved Ocean Park was better value. As more things have been added the value has improved, with more technical rides, particularly dark rides that Ocean Park can't match.
What was your best ride in Tomorrow land
Space Mountain!
And... if you realy want rude treatment, especially security guards, go to Disney Paris.
Unfortunately we’ve also had some poor cast member service at Disneyland Paris in the past too
A fun fact is that part of why the Hong Kong Disneyland Main Street appears smaller and less detailed than Disneyland’s is that the Hong Kong version is built close to the original blueprints from 1955, whereas the Disneyland buildings have had extra height and trim added to hide lighting effects for shows.
Good point
Thanks for sharing!
Is there a Toy Story land in Disneyland California
Sadly, no. That's my local park. There's no Toy Story land. There's a few Toy Story themed rides, though. But Disney's California Adventure has Pixar Pier and Cars Land. Both themed areas are top notch.
There isn’t, however there’s some Toy Story attractions
Where’s Pluto why is he not there ?
Unfortunately Pluto passed away :(
I’m not too sure where he was!
My prosias airthsis wouldn't work in Hong Kong I be ill with sore skin from sweet British weather any day I prefura
It was so hot here!
I'm the boy who got to meet Stitch on stage! I'm so glad you enjoyed the park as much as I did ❤
That’s awesome! Hope you had a magical time!
So quiet in this beautiful park .... so should attract more visitors..!
I'm rather surprised by the comments you made regarding cast members. I'm a platinum Magic Access member and except for the occasional bad cast member which you get elsewhere I always felt the cast members to be very polite and friendly. Sorry you had such a bad experience during the trip.
Please don't think the service is always set to this standard because it's not trust me.
That’s good to hear. We felt the service was poor across our stay sadly, hopefully it’ll be better next time!
Hi there Shawn! 🙋♂️
Love your latest vlog that covers your second day at Hong Kong Disneyland. I think for me the main highlight of the video was experiencing the awesome Marvel attractions in Tomorrowland. 🦸♂️🪐🚀
Hong Kong Disneyland is a spectacular park that has tons of potential to become much better than it already is. If I was in charge, here’s what I would do:
- Add in a second park, something like a Hong Kong DisneySea.
- Along with the second park, I'd put in a shopping/entertainment district. This would be similar to Downtown Disney and Disney Springs.
- It’s clear that since the park reopened, there hasn’t been a parade to entertain guests. If it were up to me, I'd create a new daytime parade and bring back the Paint the Night parade, with the addition of a few new floats.
- Add in a walkthrough Ghost House attraction in Main Street U.S.A.
- The awesome Marvel attractions would move to its own mini-land, with the addition of a game/exhibit area called Banner Labs.
- HyperSpace Mountain would revert back to Space Mountain.
- Tomorrowland would welcome in a new DreamFlight ride, similar to the one at Epcot.
- The tournament facades in Fantasyland will be replaced by themed architecture, as in the 1983 redo of Fantasyland in Anaheim.
- There would also be a new land to complement Grizzly Gulch, Dinoland. However, unlike the one at Disney's Animal Kingdom, this would be set in the American Southwest. It'll include a log flume and a version of Soarin' that takes guests over as well as through a prehistoric Earth of 100 million years ago.
- Finally, Toy Story Land would be replaced with an all-new land called Celestial Peaks, where ancient Chinese myths and heroes dwell, ruled by Sun Wukong. Some of the attractions include The Legend of Mulan, a dark ride retelling the 1998 film in the style of traditional Chinese artwork, and Floating Lantern Dance, an Aquatopia-style ride using water chariots shaped like paper lanterns.
These ideas may sound a bit bold, but I think that they would help boost guest attendance for Hong Kong Disneyland.
Thank you, really enjoyed the Marvel attractions!
What a magical experience that China have created love it.
