How to ace the interview: (Started a seasonal product specialist and then worked as an operations specialist)
Show them you have a life outside of work (hobbies/ passions ect) they like that, they like to hire people who fit their whole creative look. I talked about my love for fitness, my love for painting & photography.
When they ask you your Interview questions, they want a story to be told. Don’t say things like “I always” no. Talk about a time you did something ect, explain the problem, how you handled the situation, your solution and the outcome.
When and if they ask you about a weakness they want to hear what you struggled with and how you solved it out have worked on it. I personally talked about my fitness journey and how that shaped me into the person I am today, how I’m now more organized, more confident out going ect
Ah and when they ask you why apple, don’t just be like “oh I just love the company ect” think about how you normally use an apple product if you have any. Since I do photography I talked about the airdrop system and how I love the eco system apple has that has made me edit and deliver my photos to my clients. Just overall show an general interest in the company at the every least??

@@iamxya I’m not sure about the phone interview, i haven’t heard from them after after a week. But what I did is, I contacted a recruiter on linkedIn and I expressed my interested to her. She was hiring. I don’t what she did lol but I got an interview with a manager today and now I have a group interview coming up
@@samueladjienang2083 thats soo good!! Usually if you don’t hear anything for a while its a great sign! Means that apple is really considering you the longer they take, but if they message within a couple days; most of the time its not a good sign. But I wish you the best! I hope you get the job!! Genius at Apple here! 👋🏽 I totally feel u when u said that you hate being reverse shadowed. I personally hate being reverse shadowed bc it’s a lot of pressure from the peer/leader shadowing you bc you gotta be on point w your work & expectations you’re setting to the customer. It’s all good intentions though, to make sure you’re getting the training you need. Great and informative video! 🤍

@@darkacademiavanessa my advice would be get very familiar with the competencies related to your role, have a unique story associated with each one, and share all your wins with leadership! Take a more active role in the bar and be open to handling whatever situation comes your way!
Amazing and informative video! Short and too the point! Thank you for also sharing the good and the bad, really puts things into perspective! I’ve always wanted to work at Apple, it’s always been my dream of mine! In late December of 2019 I’ve met this nice couple that goes to my church and the husband works at Apple. I wanted to to ask the gentleman if there’s any advice for applying , but I was too shy. And as 2020 was approaching the world shut down and I lost contact with them, not only that but managing and trying to stay safe. Then around January 2022, the company that i worked for ; Walgreens, fired my coworkers and I basically to get rid of us. I’ve been struggling looking for other jobs and trying to get a fresh start. I then started going back to my church, and started talking with the couple every Sunday . Fast forward to last week, I’ve finally built up the courage to ask the gentleman for any tips on applying to Apple. The gentleman was so nice and took it a step further and said, “oh here, here’s my number, personal email and work email, send me your resume”. I couldn’t believe it, I was so excited and happy, all it took was for me to finally ask. And I feel so happy, through every struggle, feeling of depressed, and bad mental health: that God brought me to this point into my life, where my dream is about to become a reality!!!

This is really helpful! I just finished core training and I’m really nervous to start actual hands-on training out on the floor. Im lucky to have had core in-person and I really like the atmosphere so far! I hope communication is better here than what you had to deal with, but so far I’m really excited! Thanks!

im on my last apple interview with the store manager! kind of nervous but my process was kinda fast i got the 1st and 2nd interview within a week.
How did it go? I got background check done friday but not heared anything yet

Hey. Let me ask you one question: do they offer a lot of hours a week? If it’s only 20 a week I wouldn’t be making enough money. But if I can get 30-35 I’d be happy.
I hear they will randomly scan your office but I don't know what that means? Do they use the webcam on the iMac? If so can't they just see what's on camera or can that camera see more?

Hello! So I put my resume out there for Apple. I didn’t apply specifically for anything stores and then I got an email for a store position here in NYC that I was being invited to a group interview and I did that interview and passed to the next interview which is with the store manager and I was wondering what should I expect? She sound really sweet when I was talking to her on the phone, so that calmed my nerves. Also, what about vaccination? Did they ask you about that?
What type of questions were asked during the interview? if you don't mind me asking.
Does Apple give weekends off ?? Saturday Sunday holiday ??

I’m currently waiting for the apple locations in New York City to start hiring again and I hope it’s soon! I recently left Best Buy last month & the only good thing about working there was the discounts. Management showed favoritism, a lot of co workers (not all) were toxic, and pay was awful with $16-$18 an hour. It felt like I was in high school.
I actually had a phone interview for apple in September and for anyone looking for a job there, I can give you one good tip! Apple cares about creativity and personality over anything else. I’m really passionate about fashion and the guy on the phone loved how I expressed myself and how I went into full detail about my creativity and personally traits. The conversation went well imo but I got an email 2-3 days later saying that i wasn’t chosen to move on to the next step. It was for a seasonal position so I wasn’t too bummed out. I feel as though I did not make it past the phone interview because I wasn’t too excited and enthusiastic about the role being seasonal, especially since I had a part time job at Best Buy.
Another important thing to mention for people who want to work at apple. Remember that in life not everyone is going to clique to you spiritually, mentally, and emotionally. So with that being said. One manager and recruiter will like you and find you to be the perfect candidate for apple and they’ll give you a chance and hire you. While another manager or recruiter will think the total opposite of you.
Just keep trying and remember to be passionately creative and enthusiastically show off your personality. They care about that the most so that you can engage with and help customers.

@@Sayject it is SO much fun! it might just be the store i'm at, but everyone there is super unique and i absolutely love learning about everyone there. learning about the customers is also a joy. i actually just had my last day of training so i'll be on the floor on my own next time i go in!

hello, when i has the web x interview it took a 8 days to reply to me ….
so i very recently got the position but start training at the end of the month. they emailed me back the day after the group interview and asked about my availability for the job. after they made sure it matched their availability needs, they told me possible times for the next interview. did you get a response from them yet? i've heard that sometimes it can take a week or so.
after passing three interviews with apple, I got a call that i passed the interview but a week or two I got an email asked to be on hold till suitable position available n been 12 month they didn't call back… any suggestion ?
I got the job but they won’t disclose with me how much I will make and hour they told me to wait for and offer letter after my background check
That’s so strange mine told me in my first interview.
Best bet is to Google the country your from and what the typical pay is.
i was told via a phone call a few days after my offer email..strange but well done for getting this far!!!

after you go to career opportunities, on the top right corner, there’s a button that says Search. Press the Search button and you will be able to see the roles they’re hiring

If you wanna work at Apple Corporate, Computer Science degrees are great for Engineer roles :) Apple Retail does not need degrees. Just depends what you want to do!

Been looking up jobs and thought of Apple. I’m more of a person that likes working with food and serving customers, but something about Apple makes me wanna be part of retail?
However I do have a neurological disorder, which is motor tics. Basically where I do unwanted movements to my body such as blinking too hard, nodding my head, flexing my muscles and it usually happens when I’m stressed, it’s too hot, and I’m anxious.
The nearest Apple store is like 30 minutes away, but you listing the benefits kinda making me think it’s worth it. If I’m brave enough, I’ll see if I can apply and hopefully they’re willing to accept people with disorders like mine cause if not, welp. :,,)

@@titoosemobor2051 hey!! so the major thing is to honestly just be yourself! they just want to know that you’re confident and personable because they can train you on the rest. during the group interviews, i tried to make sure that i responded and reacted to the other candidates stories and answers and sometimes refer back to them if given the chance! prepare for like scenario questions too. the one thing i noticed was that people who were like “apple is the most amazing company ever” didn’t move forward. the people who moved on were the people who were confident but friendly, smiled often, and seemed genuinely interested in learning more! if you have any other questions let me know! i was super nervous but it honestly wasn’t that bad

It can take up to a month. That's how long it took me to hear back. Good luck!
Took me over 3 months to hear a response, another 2 1/2 weeks to get the position, so don't hold your breath.

It’s pretty much the same; you’re still in a group and they ask the same type of questions.

Pay varies on your position + location. They do pay every two weeks.
I get paid monthly on the 25th
I live in Delaware and our starting pay is $20 hr but soon to increase this month (June 2022)
Paid bi-weekly, I worked part time and usually clocked between 50-66 hours so my pay after taxes was around $800-$1,050 or so
