Hello Mr. Coburn. I’ve been looking for a shear web with two holes but can’t find it. I have with one hole and how to calculate doubler reinforcement but can’t find with two holes. Have you seen that type of design and analysis before?
Thanks for asking. Michael Niu’s “Airframe Structural Design” has a method in chp 6 based on a Saab report that is pretty good. He has other guidance and analysis methods that can be employed with modification as well. Michael Niu’s Airframe Stress Analysis & Sizing has additional material on that as well in Chp 13. Jean Claude Flabel’s “ Practical Stress Analysis for Design Engineers” chp 9 provides analysis guidlines that can also be employed
