Picked 66 up on Friday and really enjoying it, many thanks for this video. I first got into the Jam back in '77 when their first single came out, from then on I was hooked. I must admit the Style Council passed me by somewhat, but I must give them a listen, finding that now I'm in my sixties I'm appreciating music I didn't listen to when I was wearing a younger man's clothes. You are bang on with 22 Dreams I always saw that as Paul's "White Album" in his catalogue, but it is a great album, great variety of sounds and genres and as always with Weller great songwriting.

Brilliant comment (I’m hitting the mid 50’s now too) - i came to the style council late in the mid 90’s having kinda dismissed them- I brought the big box set and couldn’t believe the good stuff not on albums - but then he did great b sides with the Jam too . Cafe Bleu is a mad album - incredibly brave - I wouldn’t have got any of the references in 1984 - it’s taken me 40 years to catch up ! Punk and mod never did anything for me, nor did anyone that I know get into it here in America. I'm a big CSNY, Pink Floyd, Sabbath, Trower guy who also loves Sinatra, progressive rock and well produced pop music from the 60's and 70's. I have a feeling that most of Paul's fans started with The Jam, while I started with The Style Council, which I found to be a breath of fresh air in the '80's in it's embracing of sophistication.
