Whitehaven West Cumbria - We took a visit

27th July 2019 and we took a visit to Whitehaven. It had been a while since I was last here, and even though it was a wet and grey day it was nice to be back.
Sadly the area really needs some TLC, we walked around the harbor and marina, and the little things like the watch towers, just a lick of paint would really make a huge difference.
The town we noticed the amount of empty shop units, but this is going on throughout the UK, some creative imagination though could turn things around.
The house property, rent or purchase was , compared to where we live very, very affordable, but I guess that this will reflect the job market and more.

How can you equate St Ives with Whitehaven, ridiculous statement.

Really, and why is that ? Both have lovely sand, fantastic harbour, blue sky, nice people, nice pubs, lovely coast etc.

Lot's of people in Copeland seem to have a pass time of slagging off where they live and walking around blind to the beauty of the place.
