@@chaosmastermind Well, it sort of works. Summary Dismissal exiles all spells, so whatever the Veto was countering will still not resolve. It's just funny.

That whole rap was fantastic, but that Bribery joke at the end had me in stitches.
I didn't think he would top the joke just the line before that, but he found a way.
For me it was him clearly prepping to pick the cuffs with the Supreme Verdict afterwards.

Yeah, I assumed he would use something else, contextually it did sound like the Veto was being used defensively, meaning it was protecting something else on the stack cast by the opponent who was trying Azorius, meaning the Dismissal (if that was the case) would hit both the Veto and the original spell (which was from Remy's opponent), making it pretty salty.

Did you apply your anthem to the Bureau of National and Individual Anthem of Ravnika, as It states in the norm 5678, paragraph 54, comma 7? Otherwise there could fine you without the proper certificate. Though there should a shortcut for the former of member of Azorius.

Where's the joke?
It’s a joke about how the power of the president works in the United States. Congress can make new laws, but the president can veto them preventing them from becoming laws. Then, if 2/3 of Congress agrees, they can override the President’s Veto.

I've been a huge fan from the beginning and i would say this is his best production yet. The transitions are clean, the jokes are solid, audio is great, etc.

@@matteorossi1172 Could be holding up Annul/Stern Scolding/Spell Pierce/Mental Misstep/etc for opponent's 1-drop (or 2 drop, if Remy is on the draw). Even if it's a bluff, the control player never wants to let their opponent feel comfortable casting spells, haha.

Considering its Counter/Wrath Tribal, Dovin's was probably countering a counter to protect something else, so the Dismissal still wins the back and worth

Pure Gold Remy! Another masterpiece and it reminds me on your first rap that brougth me to this channel. And its finaly about my hate topic of magic: counterspells. and my most loved playstyle sweepers. :D i play counterspells to in my main deck and i admit im not proud of but an necessery evil. this song reminds me of my most evil arena deck i have build it. blue white without any wincondition, i played 7-9 games with this deck and won all. it was full of just counterspells and sweepers till my opponents eventually resinds.. lol i hated that deck and never played it again even tho its still on 100% winstreak.

Fun fact: In Legacy (I play local tournaments but went to some 700+ players tournaments from time to time), the most played deck when I started and for a few years after that was Miracles, an Azorius ultra-control deck that often went to time during game two or sometimes even game one... The main tool of the deck was Sensei's Divining Top and Counterbalance (with all the traditional Legacy blue cantrips and free counterspells, with like one or two cards in the deck that was their kill), and since most Legacy decks have a REALLY low curve, it was an insane deck. It had a 55-70% win rate against almost every decks in the meta.
Except against Goblins, which I play since I started Legacy XD
Goblins had a 80%+ win rate against Miracles, because we have uncounterable creatures (Cavern of Souls, and/or Goblin Lackey/Aether Vial if it passed their Force of Will turn 1), many refills (Goblin Matron into Goblin Ringleader was the most powerful turn against Miracles), land control (Wasteland and Rishadan Port) so they couldn't use their mana well while we just put Gobbos into play with Lackey or Vial, and many silver bullets fetchable with Matron.
We had just too much stuff that they couldn't deal with, or only with bad trades (a Terminus against a Matron, a Mogg War Marshall and its token and a Ringleader hitting them for five a turn was a terrible trade for them, as we could just Matron a Ringleader back to refill; or a Swords to Plowshare against my 1-drop Goblin Lackey) and if we bode our time and didn't flood the board too much without a backup plan in hand (risking a Terminus), it was an easy win.
Which meant that ironically in big tournaments Round 1 was THE most important one to win for me, as if I won I would have more chance to play against Miracle players as I climb higher, while if I lost I would play other types of decks where I would lose more often. I had MORE chance of winning the higher I was, unlike most other decks.
Well, they killed Miracles when they banned Top, but it was a fun few years.

back when I still played modern, I started playing with a guy who ran Azorius control. I think he probably had a playset of supreme verdict. I beat him with Esper control. Kinda hard to verdict when your first one gets hit with surgical extraction.
