I bit late but ive done the base game finished haus and still nothing on the board after doing all available missing persons

That is strange, have you tried shutting down and rebooting the game? It seems with every new patch in the game, something else goes wrong but the old turn off turn back on method seems to fix most issues.
Give that a try and hopefully it will sort the issue.
