Theatre of Magic on the Pinball Arcade (Playstation 3) was a game that (re)ignited a passion for pinball. I remember playing pinball in arcades in the 80s/90s as a kid, but I was often distracted by the cutting edge video games. Pinball was old & 'always there' in my youthful mind. Left neglected and taken for granted, by the time I played the emulated tables on the PlayStation around 10+ years ago, I realised pinball had mostly vanished from the public place. It was just Stern at that point. Witnessing the pinball renaissance has been a pleasure. Long may it continue! Anyway, the point is: thanks Theatre of Magic and The Pinball Arcade. I'm sure you contributed quite significantly to the regrowth of pinball. The demo, released on PS3 in 2012 had 4 tables; Black Hole, Ripley's Believe it or Not, Tales of the Arabian Nights and Theatre of Magic. Thanks also to the appropriately named FarSight Studios for making the game. Ironically, video games have helped bring pinball back after near killing it off
Thank you. This is exactly the same thing for me except that the game was Pinball arcade for the ps4. Theater of magic was my first table on that game and I really spend time on that one only, to master the secrets, the way to go (you have great tutorials on the game). The sound design was really enjoyable too. Since then, I love pinball, and not only arcade video games.
Dude . . . it's an honour. I love your artwork. Batman 66 is my favourite on any machine. Happy holiday to you too sir. We'd love to have you on the podcast sometime.
'Unbreakable' Trunk is just made from a Flexible TPU plastic. I can refer you to a guy that makes them if needed. Also you need to either get LED OCD or Afterglow installed as you've lost the fade and dimming from both the GI and Inserts. Its a worthy investment if you plan to keep this game.
There's a little board that stops the trunk changing direction mid movement which stops the ball getting trapped (it was designed by Davey). I have a spare as i had to order 5, i gave away 3 so far! The newer ROM also tries to fix this but i still get it occasionally if not using the trunkfix board.

Lovely game alright!
Great gameplay there, good fun to watch.
Thanks dude
Close game, the bonus multiplayer is a good strategy to raise at the start and keep raising it, you'll be surprised how much it builds up.

Cheers Scott, I've got one on order with Davey. I'd definitely be interested in the trunk please mate
