The memories of the flame-chasers in the Elysian realm are like simulations so they are the same as the last time their memories were updated (for example Kevin and Hua memories in the realm stop at just before the Herscherr of Finality descended and they don’t have their current era memories) and Mei was able to interact with them like they were real persons. (I hope it wasn’t too hard to understand)

Interestingly, not many people bring up is Kiana our protagonist is actually Sirin. In the manga, Otto created K432 using the real Kiana’s (Durandal) and Sirin’s genes. However, the clone never gained consciousness until Otto implanted Sirin’s core, which is like her soul. Sirin had always wished for a second chance at life to be a normal girl which is our Kiana. The Herrscher of the Void is Sirin’s hatred of the world for taking away her mother and friends. Kiana accepted who she was at the end of part 1.

First of all, glad you enjoyed the Animated Shorts! Also, don't think too deep about each shorts, each of them have a huge timelapse and big chapters skip so without playing the game all you can do is, really, only play the Animated Shorts and enjoy it raw without context. Even with Honkai Chronicles Video Explaining about the last few video, its still a few hour of gameplay condensed into 15-20 minute video. I'll be putting a few replies into this comment later on if you have a question that I can easily answer without spoiling too much in case you wanted to play the game to experience it yourself (only ones that isn't already explained in the comments by others ofc).

There are a variety of models, but all can be disrupted as a driving force, by AI self-regulation of their actions, if necessary, can also be manually driven. So, think of them as a mass produced mech and this time around, its driven by whoever is against Kiana.

I'm halfway through the video, just after Fu Hua's lore video, and I have to say. As someone who watches a ton of reactions, the inclusion of lore videos on top of the cutscenes is amazing, definitely enjoying the lore video reactions the most so far, while the cinematics are amazjng and pretty mindblowing, it's when you get the lore (at least partially) and it all clicks that your reaction becomes amazing.

24:05 interesting fact, in game you can hear two voices screaming when Himeko injects spear of destiny in Kiana. One is HoV being supressed and the other is much more human, that's because that one belongs to actual Kiana screaming because she lost her mentor.
The saddest part is, Kiana would have had to end Himeko pretty soon even if the whole reawakening of the Void event never happened. Himeko's time was almost up as it was, so her only choices would have been to end things herself or else she would zombify and need to be put down by the girls. The anti-Honkai serum was top-secret and thought by St Freya to have been lost to Anti-Entropy before the events of HI3, so they were out of options as far as Himeko knew.

Valkyrie are sent into zones with high Honkai energy levels, similar to walking into a nuclear contaminated area. They are also exposed to it by their own battlesuits, which use Honkai energy to function. So they're often fighting in contaminated wastelands with un-shielded reactors strapped between their shoulder blades. A Valkyrie's only protection against this is their Stigmata. Setting aside all the other powers that Stigmata grant, their most basic function is to protect the person from Honkai energy like a Hazmat suit. But not all Valkyrie are created equal. Unlike the rest of the main characters, Himeko was born without a Natural Stigmata. Hers is an artificial one, designed by Otto to bolster Valkyrie numbers after the 2nd Eruption. His Stigmata are flawed, however, and don't give people the same resistance to Honkai energy that someone with a Natural Stigmata has. Artificial Valkyrie take much more damage from the Honkai energy in the air than natural-born Valkyrie like Kiana and the gang. The stress of combat also wears down their bodies, and most Artificial Valkyrie are forced to retire from the battlefield by the time they hit their mid to late 20s. Anyone who pushes beyond that will eventually succumb to the Honkai, and become zombies when they finally hit their limit and their body gives out. As such, Kiana and friends were taught to look for signs of this happening in the field and if necessary, give their squad-mates final mercy. Himeko's body didn't adapt to her Stigmata very well, and when the game started she had maybe a year left before the end.
otto plan was to resurrect 2nd herrcher in kiana body to artificially make the honkai irruption which will make the will of honkai reset the world rescue kallen from her death in the new world, but since he failed he tried another solution which is to make new possibility and change the past through imaginary tree

The Elysian realm is essentially a simulation, and the characters we meet there (including Elysia) are just sims that exist only inside of that simulation, while their real selves have been dead for 50000 years. So, they actually killed them all twice
@ They died the first time in reality, trying to save the world, and the second time, their sims died also trying to save the world (in the "Because of you", they destroyed themselves with the entire Elysian realm to take down the Herescher of Corruption, and not let it into the real world)
Also for Seele and Bronya's story, the Azure Waters video was kinda recap of the manga with same name. It showcases how those two met and how Seele got stuck in Sea of Quanta. It has like 10-15 chapters so I recomend reading it for better understanding. Also the story of starrail and impact are very different. In starrail Cocolia adopts bronya to "higher society" to be new supreme guardian and Natasha owns the orphanage, while in impact Cocolia owns the orphanage. There Bronya is a famous assasin 'the Silver Wolf of Urals' however after failing to assasinate Cocolia she takes her in the orphanage.

Also, core of the 2nd Divine key was the core of Previous Era Herrscher of the Void, and this is one of reasons why he needed K-423 Kiana with HoV power And this Key itself is similar to Astral Express, but more massive and futuristic

The divine keys are weapons or tools made from the herrscher cores of the previous Era. The divine keys have the powers of the corresponding herrscher, so the 9th divine key: star of eden is made from the core of the herrscher of gravity and can create blackholes. Your voice volume is a little low. With your timid voice. You should prop crank it up abit. If you speak while the video is playing.. You are only barely hearable. Also hope you enjoy the honkai impact story. Also.. There are also some animations like.. Golden courtyard and concerts that you havnt seen.. I think.. Unless u have.. But if you havnt.. You totally should. Espicially the concerts.. Every concert it gets better. The first concert had a little problem.. But it gets better at the second one. Though.. Even the first one with its sound problems was still pretty good.

when is comes to why otto didn't listen to kallen... well the honest way to put it is that kallen was just idealistic, those methods don't work that well in reality as we see in the game, while the more ruthless options e.g almost everything otto did, does work. thats just the harsh truth, not saying its right, but at least in honkai world you need to make harsh desicions and can't save everyone
I think the first animation is just like a concept video they released that isn't in the game. At least I don't remember watching it there and shows Kiana with a level of control over her powers that she hasn't at the start 😅. Time stop is an in-game mechanic most characters have when you perfect dodge, like in Bayonetta. Good reactions! I watched until I could, the parts I already saw in the game 👋

okay, last comment I promise, Kiana cannot return to the earth for couple of years because her herscher authority is too strong for earth now because of the project stigma, she could essentialy destroy earth if she returned. So she needs to wait for earth to stabilize.

Aw yea, because she died in HI3 it's good she doesn't have to die in HSR 🥹 I loved many of the animations they are really crazy and some really made me so emotional
The Video on Otto is the only honkai operation video that DID NOT do a good job at explaining otto's backgrounds and motives. Otto did the human experimentation to cure the BLACK PLAGUE that is killing people in Europe. In a sense, his inhumane experiments saved billions more than the ones he killed, making this a choice of gray area. You cannot deny his saving of billions of lives, but the experimentation is 100% inhumane. After the black plague, he continued to study and do experiments to fight against the Honkai. To him, so long as humanity advances in their fight against honkai, morality and virtues are acceptable prices. Kallen on the other hand, protects others against the honkai using her own strength. So you could say they both have their own way of fighting the honkai, it's just that Kallen cannot accept Otto's method. Otto KNOWS what he is doing is morally wrong, but he is strong willed and is willing to walk this "evil" path if it is necessary, he doesn't force Kallen to stay with her and respects her choice to fight like a Batwoman/vigilante. It was only after Kallen started targeting the corrupted priests/people of the APOCALYPSE family, Otto's OWN family, that she was over powered by the vast resources of Apocalypse and captured by other family members of the Apocalypse. Otto himself never tried to catch kallen, he even secretly help her escape. However, after the Herrscher of Corruption incident, she was captured by Shicksal again. She was then scheduled to be hanged, this is shown in the animation where she was about to be hanged. She could easily break the rope, she just chooses not to because she accepted her death. Otto, received news that Kallen was about to hanged, almost lost all hope of saving her. Otto was then tricked by her sister where she told him that if he releases honkai beasts onto the execution ground, he can help Kallen escape during this chaos. However, Kallen, instead of escaping during this chaos, decided to help the civilians who were just watching her getting hanged a second ago, she was eventually pierced in the stomach and died from fatal wounds. Otto blamed his corrupt family for her death, he also blame himself for being a fool who gets tricked by his sister. He overthrown his entire corrupted family with the help of the people of europe, and became the head of the schicksal organization himself And then begins his plan of reviving Kallen. Also he DOES care for people's lives, just only two people's lives. Otto won't admit it openly because he KNOWS he has done so many irredeemable things and he is committed to go out like a villain to the very end. But deep down he really cares for Theresa, his granddaughter, and Durandal/real Kiana, his most gifted subordinate. He also does not let his care of those two get in the way of his goal of reviving kallen. It's when all the preparations are completed that he began to let a bit of his true feelings for those two out in the very last moments. The reason why he cared about those two so much, is also related to the fact that Both Theresa and Durandal acts and believes in almost the exact same value as Kallen Kaslana, they are both selfless heroes who thrive for the people they sworn to protect.

Actually they don't have to explain it that far since whatever the excuse you draw, Otto still is the bad guy. Just because you respect him doesn't mean you can justify his crimes. Thus the video doesn't include his entire motive since at the end of the day, Otto still a bad guy. Why? Because he choose to while actually he could be a good guy while still being the smartest guy in the current era.

The Bronya animation is 'non-canon', it actually plays on screens in the background of some levels leading up to Cyberangel. It's perhaps an alternate universe version where Seele isn't lost in the Sea of Quanta, but held in a facility, perhaps similar to how Sirin was held in the Tower of Babylon before becoming the Herrscher of the Void. Similarly the Reburn animations are both concepts, and dubiously canon at best. Reburn 1 is totally non-canon, it was the concept of a storyline that eventually got dropped and instead was replaced by the Will of the Herrscher storyline. Reburn 2, is largely considered non-canon also from my experience. Carole is clearly meant to be the March 7th stand-in, but creative drift meant that Welt went to Star Rail-verse with Void Archives instead. I do like the look of Proto-March in the day-dream. A vision of a future path/5* March? The Azure Waters video is HIGHLY compressed. It's probably a good idea to read the Azure Waterse Manga, as it has a lot of context for Bronya and Seele's relationship, and is one of the only appearances of a GGZ favorite character, Sin Mal(The one bullying Bronya). She's made out to be a nasty monster, but in GGZ she was a principle member of the Hero Party. Fun Fact about Cyberangel, the singer is Bronya's CN VA. So this is like Bronya literally singing her own theme song during the climactic battle. HANSER is/was a Bilibili Vtuber, and whenever she's joined the concerts to sing Cyberangel, she wears a bunny-themed mask to protect her identity. Across all these main-sequence animations, they combine 'Character Demos' with the animations, so you'll see stylized versions of the battlesuit's move-set. Like HoV's portal assault is her Ultimate, for example. The crystals are Gems, some are either fractured from a Herrscher Core, or are a Core in themselves. The one in Cyberangel is the Core of Reason, which allows her to do the holographic guns, motorcycle and such. it grants the ability to manifest items which will function, so long as the user has 100% knowledge of the item in question. Like, blades and such are simple, but a gun needs to know all the inner workings or it won't work, or might backfire. Seele animation: JP dub is missing a vital line when she takes Seele's hand off that outcrop. "Do you wish to die?" JP dub puts Dark Seele in a much less favorable light because of this. She's harsh, but only wants to help and protect Seele. And as can be seen, she's fully willing to step in to help once Seele chooses a path forward. I also have a headcanon, that the breaking through Seele did there, sent a ripple through all realities, so that where and when-ever, Bronya and Seele will always find each other. This is just my headcanon for it though. CH XI-EX, Meteoric Salvation, and Everlasting Flames... look at how Himeko is portrayed in each. XI-EX, her face never appears, only her profile. Kiana is deep in despair, and thinks she doesn't deserve to remember Himeko's face. Meteoric Salvation, Himeko appears larger than life, still in profile, Kiana has to look up and a bit forward. She's not yet achieved what she believes Himeko has. Everlasting Flames, during that final dive, Himeko appears for the last time, she's smaller, a little behind Kiana. She's finally passed on the mantle, and burns away with a full-face smile, because Kiana's finally succeeded her. Ch XV CG is a fight between the Strongest of Yesterday and the Strongest of Today. Kevin and Durandal. The fight looks like it takes place in an arctic environment, but that's actually in Africa, in a desert area. It's frozen over because of Kevin. His body is so cold he can kill normal humans just by proximity via hypothermia in minutes without protection. Fu Hua has gone through so many eras In her long life... the MANTIS too young to use her full power, the Azure Empyrea, who was almost like a goddess made manifest to the 15th century people of Shenjou. The Phoenix who would purge corruption without mercy. The Valkyrie who was cold and standoff-ish, but warmed to the girls under her care. During the Theatre of Domination arc, Mei does show up from another entrance into the zone, and stuns the Legion Herrscher(The dolls) long enough for Bronya, Fu Hua and Kiana to rally and get their power back under control to pull the win, and awaken Kiana's new Flamescion form, forged from the Void power, and the Gem of Haste given by Himeko's ghost. The singers for Moon Halo are not character voices, save for Hanser being CN Bronya's... but they're taken to represent Kiana, Bronya and Fu Hua by many people I've seen in the community. One of them sang Honkai World Diva, the song in Lament of the Fallen, so some take that as Mei watching from the sidelines, and providing her own voice to things. The Dreamy Euphonium concert ends with Moon Halo, sang by many members of the community. Captains, Dev team members, other people from Hoyo and the various players who all sent in videos and audio of them singing, which were arranged into a climax that brought the whole community together. Thus Spoke Apocalypse... Despise Otto, Doubt Otto, Understand Otto, Become Otto. The most selfish thing one can do... sacrifice everything, even your own happiness and dreams, to create a new time for the one person you love most. 500 years of plotting, planning, failed experiments, guiding the paths of those around him... all for a single moment, a brief glimpse behind the curtain, so he could add a new path for Kallen to live in... without him. The Elysian Realm, as another comment stated, was a simulation, where saved mindstates of the final 13 MANTIS warriors of the Previous Era, the Flamechasers, were uploaded to guide those in the Current Era. Because of You is the end, when the Herrscher of Corruption(The big eye) makes itself known and tries to fully take over the simulation... with the end-goal of breaking out into the real world. Elysia is 'deleated' but using a backdoor protocol put in place by Eden, she restores herself, and the other Mindstates that had been absorbed or erased, to draw on their power to bind the Herrscher in place, so Elysia could trigger a special kill-switch program, which was designed originally to destroy Kevin if he turned on them(The real Kevin.) It's Kevinkiller-48? I think. The big pink lady. And Graduation Trip is Kiana walking backward through her life, starting at Finality, and returning to White Comet, before meeting her child-self at the very start of her journey after leaving Siegfried behind. Young Kiana looks up at the Earth, while Adult Kiana walks off to the Moon, so she can master the power of Finality, and not destroy the world by existing.

Just as a heads up: "Reburn", "Bronya", "Reawakening", "Pre-Revelation" and "Reburn II" are not exactly canon. The two Reburns are concept trailers (Reburn for Honkai Impact 3rd, Reburn II for Star Rail), while the others are hype trailers for upcoming story arcs. By the way, why do you keep talking about "sad stories"? This is obviously a "positive and uplifting (TM) story", I know because the lead writer told us so.
The second eruption Manga is excellent, highly recommend it. As a fan of all the Hoyoverse Game, I think that HI3 is the most well written of the three. It’s a shame that more people don’t play. Sure the mechanics of the early chapters are way outdated and the first few chapters are slow, but the story and characters make it well worth playing. I went from being seriously annoyed with Kiana, to loving her so much.
I already love it just from watching animations and lore videos, it's really amazing! yes I was recommended to read the manga and definitely I will it's so interesting. I want to know the story even if I don't play the game because it's so fascinating I love those girls so much

She developed amnesia as a result, and eventually formed a new personality that would become the Kiana we know. Kiana partially awakened Sirin's memories in 2010 when a Schicksal team attacked her and her father to capture her. The trauma of the memories and tearing off her own father's arm during the fight led to her suppressing and rejecting the memories of the attack and experiments once again. Sirin had developed Dissociative Identity Disorder (similar to Naruto and his dark side if you're familiar with the series), and her mind split between 'Kiana' who was in charge of their body and 'Sirin', who harbored the memories and feelings 'Kiana' denied. The personalities finally meet during the Herrscher of Domination arc/Everlasting Flames. 'Kiana' and 'Sirin' could not reconcile and re-integrate peacefully after everything that had happened, and instead fight one last time with the intent of destroying each other completely. 'Kiana' wins, defeats her other personality, and becomes the sole owner of her body.

Hi3 has a great story. It's a shame you've watched story recaps after the cinematics, not sure why so many playlists put those after the cinematics instead of before them. With context about character stories cinematics are so much better. Like had you watched this 1:24:40 before this 1:18:20 it would've made so much more sense

I Highly Recommend you to play the game, and only Play the Story.. IT IS Good, and to Understand the Context Better.. There's lot of Vtuber did that before, they came from HSR and Stick to HI3 till the end because of the Story
I completely understand, I'm really attracted to HI3 story, will I be able to focus on the main story though without doing side stories? because sometimes side stories are a requirement to continue the main plot (it's the case in GI) I think I should really consider it in the future! thank you for the suggestion
@8-bitSprinkles you can there's no such thing as Side Stories in HI3, and for the Most part is Straight up Stories no Open World Time Consuming exploration, you will be given trial characters according to the Stories.. earlier arcs were Slow, but I GUARANTEE, After you Reach Final Lesson, which is also the point where everyone's welcome you Officially as a "Captain" since you pass the "test" After Final Lesson Will be one hell of stories 🥹

The memories of the flame-chasers in the Elysian realm are like simulations so they are the same as the last time their memories were updated (for example Kevin and Hua memories in the realm stop at just before the Herscherr of Finality descended and they don’t have their current era memories) and Mei was able to interact with them like they were real persons. (I hope it wasn’t too hard to understand)

Interestingly, not many people bring up is Kiana our protagonist is actually Sirin. In the manga, Otto created K432 using the real Kiana’s (Durandal) and Sirin’s genes. However, the clone never gained consciousness until Otto implanted Sirin’s core, which is like her soul. Sirin had always wished for a second chance at life to be a normal girl which is our Kiana. The Herrscher of the Void is Sirin’s hatred of the world for taking away her mother and friends. Kiana accepted who she was at the end of part 1.

The death and destruction, the memories and emotions Sirin experienced, the loss of her family and friends, and the hatred that consumed her.
Yet, amidst all that pain, there were moments where Sirin longed to be a normal girl, often wondering what if her mother had been alive. Despite her suffering, Sirin also had good memories-glimpses of happiness-and there were people who tried to reach out and save her.
When Kiana defeated the Herrscher of the Void, she came to terms with who she was, embracing her identity and seeking to atone for the sins of her past life. Even though, in this reincarnated life, she is technically a different person with her own unique experiences, she chose to carry the weight of her past and find redemption.

First of all, glad you enjoyed the Animated Shorts! Also, don't think too deep about each shorts, each of them have a huge timelapse and big chapters skip so without playing the game all you can do is, really, only play the Animated Shorts and enjoy it raw without context. Even with Honkai Chronicles Video Explaining about the last few video, its still a few hour of gameplay condensed into 15-20 minute video. I'll be putting a few replies into this comment later on if you have a question that I can easily answer without spoiling too much in case you wanted to play the game to experience it yourself (only ones that isn't already explained in the comments by others ofc).

I'm halfway through the video, just after Fu Hua's lore video, and I have to say.
As someone who watches a ton of reactions, the inclusion of lore videos on top of the cutscenes is amazing, definitely enjoying the lore video reactions the most so far, while the cinematics are amazjng and pretty mindblowing, it's when you get the lore (at least partially) and it all clicks that your reaction becomes amazing.

24:05 interesting fact, in game you can hear two voices screaming when Himeko injects spear of destiny in Kiana. One is HoV being supressed and the other is much more human, that's because that one belongs to actual Kiana screaming because she lost her mentor.
OMG that scene was already so sad
The saddest part is, Kiana would have had to end Himeko pretty soon even if the whole reawakening of the Void event never happened. Himeko's time was almost up as it was, so her only choices would have been to end things herself or else she would zombify and need to be put down by the girls. The anti-Honkai serum was top-secret and thought by St Freya to have been lost to Anti-Entropy before the events of HI3, so they were out of options as far as Himeko knew.

Honkai energy acts similar to radiation on humans, destroying their bodies over time. Valkyrie are sent into zones with high Honkai energy levels, similar to walking into a nuclear contaminated area. They are also exposed to it by their own battlesuits, which use Honkai energy to function. So they're often fighting in contaminated wastelands with un-shielded reactors strapped between their shoulder blades. A Valkyrie's only protection against this is their Stigmata. Setting aside all the other powers that Stigmata grant, their most basic function is to protect the person from Honkai energy like a Hazmat suit.
But not all Valkyrie are created equal. Unlike the rest of the main characters, Himeko was born without a Natural Stigmata. Hers is an artificial one, designed by Otto to bolster Valkyrie numbers after the 2nd Eruption. His Stigmata are flawed, however, and don't give people the same resistance to Honkai energy that someone with a Natural Stigmata has. Artificial Valkyrie take much more damage from the Honkai energy in the air than natural-born Valkyrie like Kiana and the gang. The stress of combat also wears down their bodies, and most Artificial Valkyrie are forced to retire from the battlefield by the time they hit their mid to late 20s.
Anyone who pushes beyond that will eventually succumb to the Honkai, and become zombies when they finally hit their limit and their body gives out. As such, Kiana and friends were taught to look for signs of this happening in the field and if necessary, give their squad-mates final mercy. Himeko's body didn't adapt to her Stigmata very well, and when the game started she had maybe a year left before the end.
Final lesson always makes me cry. Ive watched it 100 times and to this day I still bawl my eyes out lol

The Elysian realm is essentially a simulation, and the characters we meet there (including Elysia) are just sims that exist only inside of that simulation, while their real selves have been dead for 50000 years. So, they actually killed them all twice

Also for Seele and Bronya's story, the Azure Waters video was kinda recap of the manga with same name. It showcases how those two met and how Seele got stuck in Sea of Quanta. It has like 10-15 chapters so I recomend reading it for better understanding. Also the story of starrail and impact are very different. In starrail Cocolia adopts bronya to "higher society" to be new supreme guardian and Natasha owns the orphanage, while in impact Cocolia owns the orphanage. There Bronya is a famous assasin 'the Silver Wolf of Urals' however after failing to assasinate Cocolia she takes her in the orphanage.

The divine keys are weapons or tools made from the herrscher cores of the previous Era. The divine keys have the powers of the corresponding herrscher, so the 9th divine key: star of eden is made from the core of the herrscher of gravity and can create blackholes. when is comes to why otto didn't listen to kallen... well the honest way to put it is that kallen was just idealistic, those methods don't work that well in reality as we see in the game, while the more ruthless options e.g almost everything otto did, does work. thats just the harsh truth, not saying its right, but at least in honkai world you need to make harsh desicions and can't save everyone

I think the first animation is just like a concept video they released that isn't in the game. At least I don't remember watching it there and shows Kiana with a level of control over her powers that she hasn't at the start 😅. Time stop is an in-game mechanic most characters have when you perfect dodge, like in Bayonetta. Good reactions! I watched until I could, the parts I already saw in the game 👋

The Video on Otto is the only honkai operation video that DID NOT do a good job at explaining otto's backgrounds and motives.
Otto did the human experimentation to cure the BLACK PLAGUE that is killing people in Europe.
In a sense, his inhumane experiments saved billions more than the ones he killed, making this a choice of gray area. You cannot deny his saving of billions of lives, but the experimentation is 100% inhumane.
After the black plague, he continued to study and do experiments to fight against the Honkai. To him, so long as humanity advances in their fight against honkai, morality and virtues are acceptable prices.
Kallen on the other hand, protects others against the honkai using her own strength. So you could say they both have their own way of fighting the honkai, it's just that Kallen cannot accept Otto's method. Otto KNOWS what he is doing is morally wrong, but he is strong willed and is willing to walk this "evil" path if it is necessary, he doesn't force Kallen to stay with her and respects her choice to fight like a Batwoman/vigilante.
It was only after Kallen started targeting the corrupted priests/people of the APOCALYPSE family, Otto's OWN family, that she was over powered by the vast resources of Apocalypse and captured by other family members of the Apocalypse. Otto himself never tried to catch kallen, he even secretly help her escape.
However, after the Herrscher of Corruption incident, she was captured by Shicksal again. She was then scheduled to be hanged, this is shown in the animation where she was about to be hanged. She could easily break the rope, she just chooses not to because she accepted her death.
Otto, received news that Kallen was about to hanged, almost lost all hope of saving her. Otto was then tricked by her sister where she told him that if he releases honkai beasts onto the execution ground, he can help Kallen escape during this chaos.
However, Kallen, instead of escaping during this chaos, decided to help the civilians who were just watching her getting hanged a second ago, she was eventually pierced in the stomach and died from fatal wounds.
Otto blamed his corrupt family for her death, he also blame himself for being a fool who gets tricked by his sister.
He overthrown his entire corrupted family with the help of the people of europe, and became the head of the schicksal organization himself
And then begins his plan of reviving Kallen.
Also he DOES care for people's lives, just only two people's lives. Otto won't admit it openly because he KNOWS he has done so many irredeemable things and he is committed to go out like a villain to the very end. But deep down he really cares for Theresa, his granddaughter, and Durandal/real Kiana, his most gifted subordinate. He also does not let his care of those two get in the way of his goal of reviving kallen. It's when all the preparations are completed that he began to let a bit of his true feelings for those two out in the very last moments. The reason why he cared about those two so much, is also related to the fact that Both Theresa and Durandal acts and believes in almost the exact same value as Kallen Kaslana, they are both selfless heroes who thrive for the people they sworn to protect.

Actually they don't have to explain it that far since whatever the excuse you draw, Otto still is the bad guy. Just because you respect him doesn't mean you can justify his crimes. Thus the video doesn't include his entire motive since at the end of the day, Otto still a bad guy. Why? Because he choose to while actually he could be a good guy while still being the smartest guy in the current era.

The Bronya animation is 'non-canon', it actually plays on screens in the background of some levels leading up to Cyberangel. It's perhaps an alternate universe version where Seele isn't lost in the Sea of Quanta, but held in a facility, perhaps similar to how Sirin was held in the Tower of Babylon before becoming the Herrscher of the Void.
Similarly the Reburn animations are both concepts, and dubiously canon at best. Reburn 1 is totally non-canon, it was the concept of a storyline that eventually got dropped and instead was replaced by the Will of the Herrscher storyline. Reburn 2, is largely considered non-canon also from my experience. Carole is clearly meant to be the March 7th stand-in, but creative drift meant that Welt went to Star Rail-verse with Void Archives instead. I do like the look of Proto-March in the day-dream. A vision of a future path/5* March?
The Azure Waters video is HIGHLY compressed. It's probably a good idea to read the Azure Waterse Manga, as it has a lot of context for Bronya and Seele's relationship, and is one of the only appearances of a GGZ favorite character, Sin Mal(The one bullying Bronya). She's made out to be a nasty monster, but in GGZ she was a principle member of the Hero Party.
Fun Fact about Cyberangel, the singer is Bronya's CN VA. So this is like Bronya literally singing her own theme song during the climactic battle. HANSER is/was a Bilibili Vtuber, and whenever she's joined the concerts to sing Cyberangel, she wears a bunny-themed mask to protect her identity.
Across all these main-sequence animations, they combine 'Character Demos' with the animations, so you'll see stylized versions of the battlesuit's move-set. Like HoV's portal assault is her Ultimate, for example.
The crystals are Gems, some are either fractured from a Herrscher Core, or are a Core in themselves. The one in Cyberangel is the Core of Reason, which allows her to do the holographic guns, motorcycle and such. it grants the ability to manifest items which will function, so long as the user has 100% knowledge of the item in question. Like, blades and such are simple, but a gun needs to know all the inner workings or it won't work, or might backfire.
Seele animation: JP dub is missing a vital line when she takes Seele's hand off that outcrop. "Do you wish to die?" JP dub puts Dark Seele in a much less favorable light because of this. She's harsh, but only wants to help and protect Seele. And as can be seen, she's fully willing to step in to help once Seele chooses a path forward. I also have a headcanon, that the breaking through Seele did there, sent a ripple through all realities, so that where and when-ever, Bronya and Seele will always find each other. This is just my headcanon for it though.
CH XI-EX, Meteoric Salvation, and Everlasting Flames... look at how Himeko is portrayed in each.
XI-EX, her face never appears, only her profile. Kiana is deep in despair, and thinks she doesn't deserve to remember Himeko's face.
Meteoric Salvation, Himeko appears larger than life, still in profile, Kiana has to look up and a bit forward. She's not yet achieved what she believes Himeko has.
Everlasting Flames, during that final dive, Himeko appears for the last time, she's smaller, a little behind Kiana. She's finally passed on the mantle, and burns away with a full-face smile, because Kiana's finally succeeded her.
Ch XV CG is a fight between the Strongest of Yesterday and the Strongest of Today. Kevin and Durandal. The fight looks like it takes place in an arctic environment, but that's actually in Africa, in a desert area. It's frozen over because of Kevin. His body is so cold he can kill normal humans just by proximity via hypothermia in minutes without protection.
Fu Hua has gone through so many eras In her long life... the MANTIS too young to use her full power, the Azure Empyrea, who was almost like a goddess made manifest to the 15th century people of Shenjou.
The Phoenix who would purge corruption without mercy.
The Valkyrie who was cold and standoff-ish, but warmed to the girls under her care.
During the Theatre of Domination arc, Mei does show up from another entrance into the zone, and stuns the Legion Herrscher(The dolls) long enough for Bronya, Fu Hua and Kiana to rally and get their power back under control to pull the win, and awaken Kiana's new Flamescion form, forged from the Void power, and the Gem of Haste given by Himeko's ghost.
The singers for Moon Halo are not character voices, save for Hanser being CN Bronya's... but they're taken to represent Kiana, Bronya and Fu Hua by many people I've seen in the community. One of them sang Honkai World Diva, the song in Lament of the Fallen, so some take that as Mei watching from the sidelines, and providing her own voice to things. The Dreamy Euphonium concert ends with Moon Halo, sang by many members of the community. Captains, Dev team members, other people from Hoyo and the various players who all sent in videos and audio of them singing, which were arranged into a climax that brought the whole community together.
Thus Spoke Apocalypse... Despise Otto, Doubt Otto, Understand Otto, Become Otto. The most selfish thing one can do... sacrifice everything, even your own happiness and dreams, to create a new time for the one person you love most. 500 years of plotting, planning, failed experiments, guiding the paths of those around him... all for a single moment, a brief glimpse behind the curtain, so he could add a new path for Kallen to live in... without him.
The Divine Keys are weapons and powerful equipment created using the processed Cores of Previous Era Herrschers. The Second Key is the Cosmic Juggerenaut, a dimension-hopping space train that was made using PE HoV's Core. It's 'Beacon' was being used to scour the various layers of reality on the Imaginary Tree to find a timeline where Kallen lived. Another failed experiment to revive Kallen.
The Elysian Realm, as another comment stated, was a simulation, where saved mindstates of the final 13 MANTIS warriors of the Previous Era, the Flamechasers, were uploaded to guide those in the Current Era. Because of You is the end, when the Herrscher of Corruption(The big eye) makes itself known and tries to fully take over the simulation... with the end-goal of breaking out into the real world. Elysia is 'deleated' but using a backdoor protocol put in place by Eden, she restores herself, and the other Mindstates that had been absorbed or erased, to draw on their power to bind the Herrscher in place, so Elysia could trigger a special kill-switch program, which was designed originally to destroy Kevin if he turned on them(The real Kevin.) It's Kevinkiller-48? I think. The big pink lady.
And Graduation Trip is Kiana walking backward through her life, starting at Finality, and returning to White Comet, before meeting her child-self at the very start of her journey after leaving Siegfried behind. Young Kiana looks up at the Earth, while Adult Kiana walks off to the Moon, so she can master the power of Finality, and not destroy the world by existing.

Just as a heads up: "Reburn", "Bronya", "Reawakening", "Pre-Revelation" and "Reburn II" are not exactly canon. The two Reburns are concept trailers (Reburn for Honkai Impact 3rd, Reburn II for Star Rail), while the others are hype trailers for upcoming story arcs.
By the way, why do you keep talking about "sad stories"? This is obviously a "positive and uplifting (TM) story", I know because the lead writer told us so.

The second eruption Manga is excellent, highly recommend it. As a fan of all the Hoyoverse Game, I think that HI3 is the most well written of the three. It’s a shame that more people don’t play. Sure the mechanics of the early chapters are way outdated and the first few chapters are slow, but the story and characters make it well worth playing. I went from being seriously annoyed with Kiana, to loving her so much.
I already love it just from watching animations and lore videos, it's really amazing! yes I was recommended to read the manga and definitely I will it's so interesting. I want to know the story even if I don't play the game because it's so fascinating I love those girls so much

She developed amnesia as a result, and eventually formed a new personality that would become the Kiana we know. Kiana partially awakened Sirin's memories in 2010 when a Schicksal team attacked her and her father to capture her. The trauma of the memories and tearing off her own father's arm during the fight led to her suppressing and rejecting the memories of the attack and experiments once again. Sirin had developed Dissociative Identity Disorder (similar to Naruto and his dark side if you're familiar with the series), and her mind split between 'Kiana' who was in charge of their body and 'Sirin', who harbored the memories and feelings 'Kiana' denied.
The personalities finally meet during the Herrscher of Domination arc/Everlasting Flames. 'Kiana' and 'Sirin' could not reconcile and re-integrate peacefully after everything that had happened, and instead fight one last time with the intent of destroying each other completely. 'Kiana' wins, defeats her other personality, and becomes the sole owner of her body.

so I have a question. Sirin is the first Herrscher to attack the earth in the current era correct? so after she was defeated, Otto took her and experimented on her? I think I'm not completely understanding these events correctly.
@@8-bitSprinkles The 1st Herrscher was Welt Joyce, who appeared in Berlin in 1952. Sirin became a Herrscher in 2000. She was used as a test subject for the creation of Artificial Stigmata. The pain from the experiments and watching her friends die in the process broke her, and she awakened as the 2nd Herrscher. She was eventually slain, and her Herrscher Core was scavenged from her corpse by Otto.
He then conducted experiments in resurrecting Sirin, eventually succeeding when he placed her Core in a lab-grown body he created by combining Sirin's genes with that of the original Kiana Kaslana.
Siegfried Kaslana and the original Kiana found out about the experiments in or around 2007, and launched a rescue mission. They saved K-423 (the Kiana clone with Sirin in it), but Kiana was lost while they escaped and presumed dead. Siegfried raised K-423 as his own daughter, and eventually named her 'Kiana' after the daughter he lost saving her.
Schicksal tracked down Siegfried and 'Kiana' in 2010 and tried to capture her. Kiana awakened her memories as Sirin during the fight, and Siegfried lost his left arm trying to stop the berserk Herrscher.

Hi3 has a great story. It's a shame you've watched story recaps after the cinematics, not sure why so many playlists put those after the cinematics instead of before them. With context about character stories cinematics are so much better. Like had you watched this 1:24:40 before this 1:18:20 it would've made so much more sense

I Highly Recommend you to play the game, and only Play the Story.. IT IS Good, and to Understand the Context Better..
There's lot of Vtuber did that before, they came from HSR and Stick to HI3 till the end because of the Story
I completely understand, I'm really attracted to HI3 story, will I be able to focus on the main story though without doing side stories? because sometimes side stories are a requirement to continue the main plot (it's the case in GI) I think I should really consider it in the future! thank you for the suggestion
@8-bitSprinkles you can there's no such thing as Side Stories in HI3, and for the Most part is Straight up Stories no Open World Time Consuming exploration, you will be given trial characters according to the Stories.. earlier arcs were Slow, but I GUARANTEE, After you Reach Final Lesson, which is also the point where everyone's welcome you Officially as a "Captain" since you pass the "test" After Final Lesson Will be one hell of stories 🥹
ohh that's really nice! thank you for the info I will have HI3 in my list of games I plan on playing in the future I love it's story so why not it will be very interesting to experience it for myself ^^
