It would be nice to see what goes on behind closed doors when the horses are taken into the back. Is that tea-time? Another thing concerning the horses, doesn’t it bother them standing in one place for so long, or even the guardsmen sitting in one place for about one hour?
As far as I know the slap on the horse is to let them know that the guards weight is shifting to one side as they prepare to dismount. The 2nd one is probably a 'job well done and no more tourists to deal with' slap.
There are videos on RUclips about the Household Cavalry giving some insights into the daily lives and how very well cared for these horses are . There is security throughout. You don't see it from this vantage point though. However if you go there and walk through to Horseguards Parade ground you'll see them there as well. Horse Guards is the official ceremonial entrance to St James's and Buckingham Palace and headquarters to the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment who provide troops for The Queen's Life Guard. Modern day roads have altered this. If you imagine how it used to look back in the day then you'd understand the layout of the building, and its location.
That snobby knob with headphones on is confused, it was Charles that was coronated and not him. He's lucky to keep walking, the guards have ways of dealing with Malcontentous humanoids. 💂
There's a great big sign in plain English that gives the warning and clearly states how to behave. Even so there are numerous tourist dotards of all persuasions who font know how to behave.
Why are these guards allowed to be treated as a tourist trap ? If the UK is going to do that then at least make a business out of it and make the people pay a couple of pounds per picture.

Do not stroke the horses - they bite. And do not stroke the soldiers - they're much worse.
Im a simple civilian. WHY is the security at the main gates? What about the other side of the main gates????
There is security throughout. You don't see it from this vantage point though. However if you go there and walk through to Horseguards Parade ground you'll see them there as well.
Horse Guards is the official ceremonial entrance to St James's and Buckingham Palace and headquarters to the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment who provide troops for The Queen's Life Guard. Modern day roads have altered this. If you imagine how it used to look back in the day then you'd understand the layout of the building, and its location.
Rambo police could have spoken up too! 3 voices are better than 1 🤨
3:20 Aw dang, she's super pretty😂
That snobby knob with headphones on is confused, it was Charles that was coronated and not him. He's lucky to keep walking, the guards have ways of dealing with Malcontentous humanoids. 💂
King Charles was "crowned" - there is no such word as "coronated".
Does Charles have CORONA?!
@@stephankruger5545 King Charles wouldn't be caught drinking that horrible concoction, he prefers Crown Royal. 👑
How come the soldier who opens door at beginning has a beard and pony tail
There's a great big sign in plain English that gives the warning and clearly states how to behave. Even so there are numerous tourist dotards of all persuasions who font know how to behave.
4.42... ez a félmeztelen férfi nagyon mókásan néz ki 😂!
This is why I am stop watching these disrespectful shows😂😢😂😢
Why are these guards allowed to be treated as a tourist trap ? If the UK is going to do that then at least make a business out of it and make the people pay a couple of pounds per picture.
You understand what a monarchy is, don't you? They extract enough from us as it is so they don't need to do what you lot do and commercialize (yes, I spelled it with a z so you'd understand) everything in sight.
What's up with the speeds on this video..
Ah, maybe my phone!
Horses may kick or bite, and there’s still, PARENTS,!.. push their kids to it..🙄
Oh that look ...lol..
Ok i'm lost ??
It called "Click bait"
Not the video I was expecting . I thought the nutter with headphones on was going to cause a scene .
Can they use their swords if you block a horse?
It's a public footpath, it might or might not be private property, but is still publicly accessible.
I wait for the Moment that a Guard grab a small Child and lift it to the Sattel to take a seat for a picture ...
How do you think the guards would get on in all the red uniform, long boots etc if there was a terrorist attack..the guys on foot would only have the maximum of two magazine's of amo on them .do you think it would be better for the police to protect the Palace
I'm not going to explain. Why should I when you could have looked up the duel duties of the Household Cavalry regiments and obviously couldn't be arsed but decided to post a comment based on your own suppositions and erroneous beliefs anyway. I will say look it up and try not to post such ignorant comments in future
That Soldier is sooo Handome! WHO IS HE??
Seems odd that the cops are armed and the soldier isn’t.
Too many bell end's about.
‘False impersonation?? No such thing Buska.
Nothing happened in the video. It is just a normal day of tourists taking photos isn't it?
Ok so how can we pick out Arnie. I know he’s lifeguards, all black, with all four hoofs black and no white markings on his head. Until he nips it’s not easy to know.
