Hi Kimberly, this is such a fabulous collection of thoughtfully done pages and chosen ephemera that richly captures this time in history - I love it! Thank you!
My word that's a chunky one! The doily at the start of the second signature is so delicate ❤ So nice to see the embroidery transfer patterns, remind me of many my mother had.
@@NormaBennettSYD it is delicate and quite unusual to my eye. It won't add as much as others would to the growing chunkiness 😄 Thanks so much for joining me today Norma 🙌 💞
Kimberly, I can't tell you how much I love this. The ephemera is so special and amazing. You have curated this so beautifully. I love the American quality most especially. Jane Addams was perfectly placed on her page, and I think that woman in the house on stilts fit so wonderfully in that torn corner of the envelope. I grew up in Chicago - North Shore (Wilmette, Deerfield and then in far west suburbs, Naperville.) Would love to know where you were. I am enjoying this with you so much!
Aww...Dody! To think that we were practically neighbors in the northwest suburbs of the city. I'm giving you an energetic hug, I hope you feel it. I see we both moved to warmer climates too! Thank you for hanging in with me over the months it's taken so far making this journal. I'm so happy you're enjoying it with me. 🥰 🙌 💖
