Just surfing you tube. I hit your channel by accident. The first video shot is of the Pennsylvania hotel. I used to work there for many, many years until covid closed it down for good in 2020. I used to buy a monthly ticket and take the LIRR from home to work. Right across the street was my job. Can't beat that. I haven't been to Penn Station since 2020. It looks like a lot of changes going on. Interesting video.

I wanted to stay at the Hotel Pennsylvania Christmas Eve 2021, but as you know it was closed. Stayed at the New Yorker instead then caught the Night Owl (sleeper) to Boston at 2:40am.
      You had a great commute!

Yes - Kmart closed in May 2020. I remember buying a blowup mattress there. Thanks for watching and commenting.

If you are travelling via Long Island Railroad from Jamaica station to Penn Station do you have to use a Metro card to exit that station? Separately from buying a LIRR ticket

No, the subway stations are exclusively pay as you enter the station. There are no fare gates at railroad stations always free access
