  • Having so much fun making these “messy scraps” that I had to film it and share. I call them messy scraps because nothing is perfect. Uneven ends, crooked sewing and sloppy cuts is how these all come together. I hope this video gives you some inspiration on how to incorporate even more textures and interest into your junk journals. The possibilities are endless and the verity of pressed flowers is always fun to explore as well.
    Happy journaling everyone!

I love the simplicity of your pressed flower clusters. The flowers are the stars of your clusters.

I love the variety that you are putting out on your channel. I am all into trying out the pressed flowers from this summer's blooms. I have seeded some geraniums and they are really looking good. Last summer I tried eco dyeing but started too late when most of the blooms were done for the season. This year will be exciting as I do more eco dyeing and collecting flowers to press. Thanks to generous people like yourself I am learning some new skills and having so much fun trying things out. Thank you for your videos on pressing flowers, laminating them and/or varnishing and the suggestions on using them. Great ideas and another way to add natural beauty to our journals.

Thank you so much. I do try to have some verity in my videos and in my work. I am always playing around and suddenly an idea will pop into my head. I hope you have lots of fun in your garden this year. Eco dying is so much fun and full of surprises. Thank you for watching. 😊

I'm in love with your projects, all of them. i love your whole process from beginning to end. love pressed flowers (i am a hoarder of them also) so this is great project idea for moi, lace, scraps together, just beautiful. love your ways of preserving choices, thank you for sharing. I even tried dying white flowers in dyed water and then pressed them it worked beautiful.

These are wonderful! The way you store your pressed flowers is so great, too, wow! If you want to change up the shiny finish, I discovered matte laminating sheets. It gives them such a pretty finish. Also, thank you for showing the sewing!

Can these cards be ironed instead of using a machine?
