What does the confederate flag symbolise or represent?
love from pakistan 🇵🇰🇵🇰🇵🇰👍🇵🇰🇵🇰🇵🇰
@Muhammad Salafi
That's a long story: duckduckgo.com/?q=confederate+flag+meaning&t=ffnt&ia=web
Until I'd looked it up just now, I never knew there were different designs to the flag, I only knew of the orange flag with the blue cross and stars. As you'll see from reading up on it, there are many different meanings to the flag, depending on who's perspective you're looking at it from.
Nice place and you are a great person to bring a nice connection between ppl and culture
Hi Peter
I am Pakistani Boy
I am Waiting your Visit Pakistan
Took my 92 year old mom on a road trip on 395 all the way to Tahoe and back through Sacramento 99. Beautiful landscape! Great memories. I love California!
I am a resident of Washington,Ca. Loved the presentation ! Thanks you guys for coming to film our little town. Peace and Love for the Ukraine !
Virtue signalling on point, brah!

Im in Southern California and Northern California is so beautiful. The way the pine trees meet the ocean, the redwoods with is beautiful floor of ferns. The early morning fog off the ocean! Absolutely spectacular ❤
Now this is my kind of place nice and quiet, no drama, beautiful scenery, friendly people. 👍🏻
That River sounds unbelievably relaxing and looks so beautiful and clear
I love California. I’ve lived here for 31 years and close to Yosemite National Park for 24 years. I have a friend who manages 3,000 acres and I’m in that area a lot. I won’t be leaving this state. Love the beauty of the state too much. I know many people in this area who will never leave.
CA is like an addiction. Love the State too but the cities are getting too busy for me!
@@brucelee4996 I’m neither of those and I can afford Cali. It all depends where you live. I don’t live in the Bay Area but up in the Sierra mountains. Firefighters can afford to live here as well. They make great money.
A state that people put on their do not visit list.
North Cali is like Virginian hills.
@@sethmyers7716 I was just in Virginia and the foothills of Northern California are somewhat but definitely not higher up in the mountains.
Thank you this time for sharing your experiences in your homeland!
Came back to this video for the nostalgia. Was starting a new journey back then and now I'm almost at the end. Felt like a lifetime ago for some reason. Glad the channel has come so far since
I became your fan after I saw your videos of my home country Iran, and now I love to see all your adventures. I live in Sacramento and can't wait to see next episodes of California. It's good to know such unique places.
Cool! Thanks Matin :)
Sacramento native here, always loved hiking to those yuba river water holes.
California is so beautiful. Thanks for sharing this video.
I live in Northern California, and we are about 2 hours away from where it looks like this. We are surrounded by fields of agriculture with the Sierra Nevada’s off in the distance on one side, and the Coastal Range on the other. You should show people the Northern California coastline. Breathtaking. Maybe the northern Redwoods, too.
That whole area up there is the most beautiful place in the world.
When I worked in Santa Rosa as a travel nurse, the Sonoma Coast State Park area was my favorite place to go to escape town on my days off ❤
I hear the judges in Southern California give criminals and option to move up to Northern California to avoid going to jail therefore a lot of Northern California cities have a high crime rate because of it
@Waylon Mercy Not sure. But I know a lot of the homeless crackheads are sent up to other cities here in Northern California.
@@waylonmercy8125 That makes sense look at all the fighting between northerners and southern LA's in cities like Santa Rosa, Salinas, Stockton, Sacramento, etc. You don't see that phenomenon in So Cal.
Last time check was the engagement video and now am hearing - my wife- lol congrats
Wow, interesting. You rarely see this side of California, only the big cities. Love the video
Thanks Flz!
Imagine hauling 20 ton locomotives up donner pass with giant ox teams and hundreds of men. That's one of the many feats that took place when the railroad was built
Ohhhh the California we don't know exist is indeed so beautiful, amazing forest, so peaceful, the sounds and all that is so relaxing. It's like you're living in paradise.
The California that you already knew exists is incredible and beautiful too, but idiots try to make it sound dangerous and scary lol. It's not. It's amazing. ALL of California is amazing.
@@thegatewaytoprestige honestly. Everyone outside of the state hates us. They hate us cuz there’s so much to do here. It’s not all crime and bad people
@@nosir1440 That’s why these channels from people piss me off. They do it to get views but the reality is my friends and I are in paradise every damn day here in LA. Food, hikes, night drives with the top down, beaches, clubs, events, house parties, poolside BBQ’s and honestly I have no idea how people online get so easily convinced that small pockets of trash, homeless folks, and ghettoes somehow overrides the overwhelming positive vibes and beauty of the biggest population in America 😂🤦🏽♂️. But whatever. They’re idiots lol.
❤ this video!!
And then all the suspicious forest fires started happening.
America's amazing to explore. I love the little remote towns you can find on the off-beaten tracks.
Hello to your beautiful wife, Nana. Peter, thanks for keeping the vlogs going especially during this difficult time. I look forward to them.
Thanks Ramon!
Man today I found your channel unexpectedly and I spend like for 3 or 4 hours watching your videos they're incredible, my respect great job you put the real people the daily life I love that
What beautiful towns. Man the standard of living in most of America is so amazing.. I wish I could live in a town like this. Love from a "failed state" (ZA).
Great! I thought we won't be able to watch another series until everything goes back to normal, but thankfully we have this one now.
Great to see you Syed!
Glad someone showed the other side of California jaja! This is the scenery I am used to. All this beauty can be found east of i-5 from Sequoia, Yosemite, Lake Tahoe. I love it! Also, explore the California dessert it is also beautiful.
Below the snow line and above the valley fog line as well .local firefighters call it the paradise line (camp fire)from Reading to Fresno a fire storm waiting to😮 happen
I found you from your series on the Amish. I am beginning to enjoy your videos on different places. Your videos are very professionally done and easy to follow and entertaining.
Even in your home country you're showing some really cool off the beaten path spots. Really different from the image you have of California. Especially the snow thing, the image is it's warm all year around which is probably is in like LA, but the north is just so different, shows how big that state really is.
I’m from British Columbia, Canada. Back in 1998 I drove through Washington, Oregon and California. Have family in all 3 states. Washington and British Columbia are very similar terrain and climate
Yes! But east side of WA state is like flat no pine trees 🌲 like Yakima valley & Tri cities area , I lived in Kennewick , Seattle & Tacoma.I love the Pacific Northwest and the whole 101 Historic Hwy , be safe and blessings from the Sonoran Desert 🌵 Mexico 🇲🇽
Where did you stop in Oregon?
Ehhhhh idk about that. I can see why one would think that. But I think Humboldt County Cali is one of a kind. Redwoods like no other and it being the weed capitol of the USA for several decades. And it's for a reason why.
Absolutely stunning! Thanks for showing.
Peter, I wonna say great "Thank" for video about North California! I alway tell everybody that this is one of the most interesting and beautiful place in America. Sacramento and its neighborhood is my favorite place for living. It was so interesting to watch the video about Washington. Scenic place! But Nevada City.... It's adorable!!!

I live in an area of California that’s 90 percent Republican and most people have midwest accents.
@@zalaegerszeg9527 Yah, You betcha!
I would honestly say that much of CA is similar to the cities in this video. Everyone thinks about the coast and big cities along the ocean however CA is really long and it’s somewhat wide too so once you go in towards land more away from the ocean, there are many national forests and lots of agriculture so you have many towns like the ones in this video. CA has more national parks than any other state and we by far have the most agriculture in the country so there is a lot of parts of CA that people aren’t used to seeing on tv and in the news all the time.
My gosh Peter, this one put a big smile on my face the entire 18 minutes. Born and raised in NorCal. I have no desire to leave. I love it here.
California’s Gold (with Huell Howser) was my travel go to when I first moved to California. Cheers.

Great stream nice to see different parts of USA ,can't wait to watch part 2
Washington looks like my kind of place, with mountains, old buildings and old trucks. Sure would like to enjoy lots of beer at the back of that bar overlooking the river. Thanks Pete for showing us these places

What I miss the most of the pacific Northwest is the blue sky in summer and those magnific pine trees. Amazing.

Wonderful! Great idea for a series. Hope Natalia liked California and the USA. Keep safe.
I was a U.S. Forest ranger in 1971 based in Nevada City. My patrol included Highway 20. Fun job.
Nice vlog Peter, and congratulations on your wedding.

US is so much calmer unlike India and Pakistan. 😃
Wonderful couple Peter & Natalia ✨️
Although they are a lovely couple, I think the videos are better without her
Just avoid big cities, and it's nice in the US.
I moved to California from Tehran four years ago, and didn’t know these places exist! So nice and green! Thank you for sharing this! 💚
Iran way better than that country even with doctrinaire theocratic dictatorship probably 😅
I'm from LA but now in Grass Valley next to Nevada City and so nice to see how much it means to you! Thanks Peter!
Beautiful! California is magical.
Amazing California. Love from Bangladesh 🇧🇩
As a Californian myself living in LA County this is so interesting to me since I’m used to the city life.
It's so crazy to me that city-living Californians can be so ignorant to the rest of the state. One day and a two hour drive out of L.A. could show a whole new world.
Thank you Peter love all your videos. Also your wife is lovely!!
Such lovely scenery, the dacha (that little country house) and the mountains, all so pretty. Thank you.
I was hiking outside Nevada City on the South Yuba River, came across a long covered bridge. Found out there are 8 covered bridges, all in northern CA.
California absolutely rocks! So many diverse landscapes & cultures....awesome place...
YEA until you live here and pay the taxes
Uh no Sir, that's TEXAS you're talking about. My growing up was a mile from the Beach..walked there every day growing up.. Like trees, (like you seem to ) - drive north 200 miles and find yourself in "The Big Thicket", trees you can't see the top of. Tired of being "in the shade" under all those trees, drive west a couple hrs and look at The Hill Country. This isn't mountains. but it's rough hills (great climbing) smaller trees and brush country, lots of streams and rivers through here. OK, if you wear out your welcome here, drive north to the plains...grasslands as far as you can imagine - few trees and waist high grasses - much wildlife here too.. Turn left again (West) and you'll soon be in The Davis Mountains. This isn't the Rockies, but these are actual mountains. You had better be a true mountaineer to walk or climb around here very much. When you get as far West as you can go "in Texas" you're in El Paso. On the north city limits of El Paso you'll find White Sands Desert. Like sand, there's a lot here - looks more like sugar or salt. I had basic training in the Army here. Drill Sergeants liked to have us crawl through this sand with a 100 lb rucksak on our back. . much fun!
If you're looking for diversity - TEXAS is the place to find it. Cali is ok I guess, but I kinda wonder why we have so many people leaving there lately, many of them come here.TEXAS HAS GOT IT ALL !!
Looking forward to watching this video and finding out about some 'hidden spots' in California that I'll visit on my next trip there :) Thanks Peter for the entertaining content!

I’m a recent subscriber and I have enjoyed your channel. You have shown me insights of the US as I do have relatives in California, New Hampshire and Florida. I’m an Australian citizen and have lived and grew up in Australia most of my life. I must say that the glamor, fashion and how media portrays the city of America is really not what it seems and unless you have been there on ground to experience it you will never discover it. You, have however visualised this on your videos and I appreciate your content. The homeless situation in LA really took me to depth of how could this be specially in a county such as America. I must say that it’s worst than I have seen in the provinces of Philippines such as Pangasinan and Puerto Princessa. It really need to be addressed. However it is easier than done. But Thank you and god bless.

I live in the East Bay ( East of San Francisco ) I'm also an avid whitewater kayaker, so I spend a lot of time in the Gold Country, Wasahington and Nevada City for the south fork of the Yuba river, Downieville for the N.F. Yuba and Pauley Creek, Colfax for the N.F. American, Placerville and Coloma for the S.F.
