Everyone in the US pronounces Adidas 'uh-DEE-duss because whomever the company first hired to market the product here pronounced it that incorrect way in the advertisements.
Fun fact, Adidas bought the "three stripes" logo during Helsinki Olympics of 1952 from a Finnish company Karhu for 1600 euros and two bottles of whiskey.

Baskin-Robbins isn't restricted to 31 flavors. Each month, they offer 31 different flavors, allowing you to have a different flavor for everyday of the month. They rotate the monthly options even though there may only be five different flavors than the month before.

What Daz is saying about how Adidas is derived from the creators name and so should be pronunced as such is the same for MrBAllen's name. He said It's supposed to be Mr B. Allen which is his name but people keep pronouncing it as Mr Ballen so he just continues to let them do it. lol

LG uses the term "Life's Good" in their advertising. But, the company was formed when two American companies merged, and set up shop in South Korea. Those two companies were Lucky and Gold Star. That's where the LG actually came from.
The Lucky-Goldstar part is correct, however, the American part is wrong. Lucky and Goldstar are 100% South Korean founded by a South Korean. The company's current CEO is the founder's grandson's nephew.

toyota produced looms before WW2. they switched to producing military vehicles during WW2 and never really switched back. im guessing they made some damn good looms because they make vehicles that last a lifetime

Actually LG used to be Lucky Goldstar. They just shorten the name to LG. Goldstar electronics were not the best quality back in the 70s. And he did a lot to improve the quality of the product so they changed their name/logo to LG.
