    In the 1600s he lived better than most humans do today. It's not necessary but it does help when the environment is conducive to learning . British Empire was the world's most powerful empire and quality of life was highest in the world.

      Well I'm very confused about Newton vs Einstein for over 2 weeks, can you help me to know who is greater? I have to choose my favourite physicist among them

    • @CalliesDiaries
      @CalliesDiaries  4 месяца назад

      @@PrinceSarraf0314 Hmmm, 🤔 to be honest they are both as great as each other. One discovers gravity and the other in the future does more with the theory and science as it's developed. So both really are great men. Personally I think they are both equal to each other, when you have to personally choose your favourite then it's down to what you think in your research and any argument you wish to make in support of that person. This link gives a 'Versus' each other which may help - decide for yourself which one you feel is important and why. Because it's your opinion it can never be wrong as far as I am concerned: www.skyatnightmagazine.com/space-science/newton-einstein-gravity Keep me informed on how you feel through your research. C xx

    • @PrinceSarraf0314
      @PrinceSarraf0314 4 месяца назад

      You are so great who gave me the best explanation ever about this concern. I'm going to be a physicist, The Einstein field equation of general relativity and Newton's equation of gravity both captivated me very much, both are the best explanation of gravity in their own era. Well that's great you support me, I want to choose only one of these two towering figures. So at all, thanks a lot 🙏🙏

    • @PrinceSarraf0314
      @PrinceSarraf0314 4 месяца назад +1

      Well what I think deeply about them is Einstein's theory of gravity was more open minded and charismatic than Newton's. Einstein revolutionized the 2000 year-old idea of Aristotle and Plato that time and space are absolute. After intense research and deep intuition, I believe Newton's theory was the greatest revolution in its own era but for all time, not more than Einstein's theory. So in the context of ranking for me, if Newton ranked 1 then Einstein should be ranked 0.999999999999999999.

      I have owned apple trees well over 50 years old. There are some in the South West of England that are incredibly old. Inventor of differential calculus that is still used. Inventor of the reflective telescope, used everywhere. Framed the laws of motion that still govern all motion and transport on Earth, and employed to send rockets into space. Discoverer of the true nature of white light. That's quite an array of earth-shaking achievements.😅

    How is this house still standing after 400 years???
    Is this the same house where Newton was born and lived his life???
    Is this true??

    • @CalliesDiaries
      @CalliesDiaries  Год назад +3

      Yes, this is where he was born and grew up. We build our houses well and it's been cared for and protected by home owners and now the National Trust for many years. A 400 year old house is not old, it's quite young in comparison to many houses that now stand on land that had dwellings on that are anything up to 2,000 years old!

      Hiya, according to guides in 3 places I have visited there were two reason, one because of the smoke inhalation from fires in the grate at night, it kept the fluid from congesting on their lungs which could cause death or at the least a sleepless night, and two for superstitious reasons that the devil would come down the chimney and take your soul, because only the dead laid flat! Just love things like this.
