You have a nice apartment, you can decide to have the scratches on the chair covered with gold spray but it doesn't look too bad from the camera. I thought you would put one in your bedroom to complement the gold designs on that large pillow & a gold mirror, because your kitchen has silver hardware like the sink tap gas stove may be you can have them scraped & resprayed with bright silver, but it's quite okay in the kitchen though, just a suggestion.
