Great video. I saw a article from WccfTech earlier, that the game boost on the pro, is only delivering 30% boost and not 45% as advertised.. But that was with unpatched games. The pro enhanced patched games should make a big difference. Is the pro a noticeable difference with base PS5 games and PS5 pro games? I guess it all depends on the developers and the talent they have on a specific game to utilize the tools of the power of the pro. Cause some games.I saw hardly a difference but other games I saw big differences. 3rd party games are important and the true test to run and look better on the pro. Since 1st party playstation studio games Always looked and played amazing even from before. PSSR is a game changer and will get better and better in due time I'm sure.
@@Chosen1_24 Hard for me to tell with BG3, because I last played it about a year ago. And I have only just got to Act III where most of the frame rate issues were. I watch Digital Foundry on YT, and I think they included it in a section on it when they first received theirs. But they are also saying it's about 30 percent with just the GameBoost. They are going to do more testing accordig to a vid of theirs I watched today. I'll try and find the vid where they looked at BG3, and others and reply to you again with the link. But yeah, Sony could have meant 'up to 45 percent increase', and were savvy/sneaky in how they marketed it. But it's early days, and I am super happy with it, especially for the VR games I play that have frame issues. Tested Into the Radius, and Green Hell VR myself, and both were much better in the places I found them to struggle most. ✌️
@Romanplaystation Looking forward to seeing more of your videos with that👍. Yeah I've been following the digital foundry videos from the beginning. And I'm impressed what I've been seeing with the big differences of the pro in certain games. Really just comes down to the specific game and the talent of the developers to take advantage. Personally I think the pro is needed for most hardcore gamers/PS fans Cause I was always tired playing games in the past that came down to 4K30/1080p60. Especially in 3rd parties titles. The PSSR that upscales the resolution to 4K,and at 60fps is huge. I seen it in good amount of games, but others not a locked 60. Hopefully they can utilize the potential of the pro. Games are getting so demanding with graphical and performance requirements. Its crazy. That's why I think the pro will be a future proof console in some big games, until PS6. I bought the disc drive but I'm still debating on getting the pro or not. Because of its crazy cost lol. And been examining and watching all these reviews and benchmarks. The 45% Faster rendering is still there, As advertised but just got to have games to take advantage of it from the developers. Its in their hands! Glad it met your expectation with VR games. Thats a big plus too👌
@Chosen1_24 Yeah, it's definitely a 'luxury' purchase if you already have a PS5, but mine was a bit knackered so needed replacing/fixing anyway. On top of that I just borrowed the money to buy a 4090 beast of a PC, so the extra i spent on the Pro barely made a scratch overall, lol. Cost me nearly 5 grand altogether with all the extra bits I've bought to improve my streams. Just have to learn how to use it all now. Never had a PC before. 😬 But I've got some really cool friends in my chat that are helping me get my head around it all.
