Interviews with Coach Pete Carroll, Matt Leinart, LenDale White and others as they traverse a difficult schedule and attempt to attain the ultimate prize; a national championship.
✌🏼✌🏼 oh the GLORY days!!! We need that Trojan swagger back in the team culture!
Yes.
Lincoln Reilly might do that. Really like his version of the air raid. Slovis is gonna play better.
@@mryagami8448 here we come
Good start to this year so far let’s see what they can do next week against Michigan on the Road!
Growing up a USC fan my grandma had this DVD and I would watch it every chance I’d get. It’s almost unreal to watch it again nearly two decades later.
This video gives me the chills all the great players and coaches of this franchise is amazing
Are glory days are back, Lincoln Riley will lead us back to are glory days . We are SC the greatest college football team ever. 11 National championships.
@@claudiohughes2654 fight on ✌🏾
@@claudiohughes2654
actually it's 17....the school doesn't recognize 6 titles
I like how the announcer predicted Reggie Bush’s complete college career with his first touch
I love being a Trojan and I love my guys! Thank you very much for this video and Fight On!
Hope y’all back soon
Say what you want about Pete Carroll, but the guy is a motivator, for real. Respect.
Yeah he got them boys ready to play!
@@dsetgetatme I wish usc played auburn after playing Oklahoma.. it would of been a great game
@@ericpackers1700 The thing most people forget is the year before this (2003) USC opened AT Auburn who was rated #6 and beat them 23-0. Auburn had much of the same team from the year before.
@@bbigjohnson069This talking point is really tired. Auburn finished 8-5 that year. Lost to unranked Georgia Tech (which finished 7-6) by two TDs the week after losing to USC. Would you take someone seriously who said that beating 6-6 USC in 2001 means they should be seen as better than USC the following season as well, given that 2002 USC returned the same number of starters as 2004 Auburn? No, of course not, because it’s a stupid argument.
Miss those days.
One thing I love about USC is the uniform tradition that harkens back to the McKay era. The jerseys, black cleats w/white laces, white socks, so old school! Something I don’t understand is why they stopped painting the end zones in 1960’s style. In 2002, they had USC flanked with three diamonds on each side. It had to be one of the coolest end zone schemes in college football.
Thanks bro!
Was in the end zone for the Cal game and it was epic!
Matt and Reggie were priceless, but I think the difference maker was Jarrett. His height made him difficult to cover. USC fan over 60 years.
love these!!! hate that you have to keep taking these on and off
This video reminds me just like good old times
I'm pumped. Lincoln should play this stuff before a game. Every game is like the first and last. No letting up.!!!!!!!
Good start so far!
@@CCROGGY That's crazy, a five month old post. I liked the team then, and I am happy they got by LSU. Pedal to the metal!!!!! All the way to the Big House !!!!!! Sounds like a prison???
That was a dominant football team back in 04-05' season!!
For seven years SC just ruled team's were scared to play USC cause they knew that they were going to Lose! Glad I was a part of it fight on ✌️🏈🏈🏈🏈
Goosebumps.
Pete the 🐐
For college yes...
@@erics2739 I mean he won a SuperBowl in the NFL, went to another. Coached one of the greatest defenses of all time. NFl career is hall of fame caliber
@@georgebrady5369 the Marshawn lynch one bites him in the ass
1/2 a yard from a 3-peat. Got to admire Leinart for coming back.
It would have been 4th and 1 instead of 2, but LenDale White fumbled on 3rd down and Steve Smith recovered one yard behind the yardage gained by White. I'll NEVER get over that game.
@@staubach1979rt Yeah with about 2 minutes left they could have just about run the clock out with a 1st down. Texas would have had less than 30 seconds to go probably 80+ yards. USC defense made some mistakes on that drive. Their defense wasn't as good as other PC teams from that era. For less than 2 yards Pete Carroll would have had another NC AND another SB.
Yeah but what else was he going to do really. He'd completed all his classes but for underwater basket weaving. Or was it line dancing? Whatever. I never thought of him as the prototype NFL QB-he wasn't so why not stay.
Ahem, LSU won the title in 2003.
@@jrousselle7828 Split National Championship. Look it up.
Pete Carroll had them boys motivated
I was in a sports bar with my g/f a few days before the NC game vs. Oklahoma. I was wearing a USC sweatshirt and this guy walked right up close and says real quietly, "Ya know you really ought to be for Oklahoma." Then he walked away. We all know how that turned out. Some days after the game Matt Leinart was on a late night show and he said the Oklahoma players had given up in the 2nd quarter. He said one of their D-linemen was telling him to take it easy on them and not beat them so badly.

nice video
FIGHT ON!!!!!
War eagle 🦅 but respect!
Can coach Riley get us back to these days?? 🤔
If he gets us 5 star recruits then Yes California Is Strictly USC territory again Especially Mater Dei High School
He's doing it now !
need a defense though just like back in 05 lol
@@JDFrank20Diaz this comment sure didn’t age well. SC can hardly get anybody from California. And SC no longer has a pipeline with Mater Dei, or any of the elite Southern California high schools.
Welcome Lincoln Ryan Fight On! 🗡✌🏽
During the WOOHP's (Sam, Clover, Alex, and Britney) Final Year at Beverly Hills High School as 12th Grade Seniors Class of 2005.
I still think the 05 team was better to be honest even tho they trailed at half a few times and lost to Vince young. 05 offense was unbelievable and they had even more confidence having won in 04
@John Doe correct. They’re schedule was much harder in 05
Nope. If the Neuter Dame game taught us anything, it's that our defense was suspect and, ultimately that's what cost us against Texas. Motherfuckers were WIDE open in that Rose Bowl!
@@nicholaswoods4055 2004 had a better defense
04 had a better team, 05 had a more exciting offense, that's it.
The 05 defense was mediocre. They could not stop Fresno State, or Texas. None the less, 05 should have beaten Texas. They got cocky and we all know that.
Man as an SC fan I miss these days. Now a days, it’s an exit program for Head Coaches.
At 50:34 let’s remember how generations have changed and everyone excepted each other and though Zero mallace behind any word…only though of it at a word of respect and a someone who has fought over and over with each other to become what they were as a TEAM to that day.
We miss it u
19:55 Coach O rslling the troops
Fight on! From Arkansas
There sure was a strong comraraderie
It's amazing what you can accomplish when you break the rules...
War eagle Auburn but I respect you guys and even though we would of played you tougher than Oklahoma you probably would have beat us even though or defense and offense had alot of nfl first rd picks
2005 Reggie bush should have never lateral the football in the rosebowl
Texas was no chump them and usc had top 3 recruiting classes year in year out and I wanna say Texas had more 5 stars on that roster or it was close
That's ultimately costed us the game
Yeah, if we go down and score instead of turning the ball over on Reggie‘s lateral, we win by two touchdowns easily. The bush lateral for sure costed us a championship.
Glory days
FIGHT ON, TROJANS!!!
"WAR ON TROY"
I’m a Sooners fan, but Jesus was this team it. They ripped our hearts out and then Leinart threw them for touchdowns
Yeah, but we have been crap for the past 10-15 years while OU is always good. Oklahoma will do well in the SEC
43:45 love to see it
Come home Pete 😂
Two Heisman winners against Cal that day, and the skinny Cal QB named Aaron Rodgers ended up being the more successful one.
If the receiver doesn't slip, we're done.

Every powerhouse in college football history has had NFL busts.
So, how does this phenomena only apply to just ONE team?
