Rob need to look up range technology for your year make and model, it goes into the obd2 port and tricks the computer and makes it run in v8 mode and never runs in that v4 and fixes that problem and makes them run better!

All them years of them trucks have problems my friend got a garage he has fixed so many of them trucks that suck because they are nice trucks. Your shop is a very nice shop and the stuff you make is nice. You have good workers

You should come to middlesboro there's a old cab over Pete it's not too bad of a truck looks like all it needs is a paint job if I had the money I would get it Don't know if it's for sale but can find out that would be a good truck to be tricked out.

Wonder if he went ahead and put tht part in the Chevy keep it from dropping dwn frm 8 cylinders to 4 and stay at 8 cylinders all time problem never happens again
Change the transmission fluid in the Chevy while your at it. Those transmissions are terrible. I have a 2016 in the shop now with bad transmission. Cant find a used one for it because they all are bad. Have to buy it from the dealer.

Chevy would have to cover that under warranty
It would depend on in service date as it is a 21'. If was an early 20' in service maybe not. Also what mods were done to it? Some cars within GM like Vetts and Camaro they can see what you have done as it leaves a footprint in the ECM. Now there are people who disagree with this but a few guys on some forums I go to swear by it as they work in the dealership. The question was if GM was doing this across the lineup.
