PS found fajita seasoned chicken strips, the LAST jalapeno cream cheese in the store (maybe more than a few of your fans in the area), and used green chilli Tabasco jam on country style bread. So simple! So easy to make and so incredibly tasty. Served it like a hot turkey sammy on a plate and ate it with a knife and fork, just easier for me for reasons. And I've got two more servings for next week. Thanks for a new favorite!

Nice video Quady, enjoyed that historical barn and the campsite was pretty nice, you've got to bring a fishing pole along your travels, cuz your fishing videos are fun. Also Love the new sheets your wife is such a keeper, although she doesn't travel with you she still has your back and looks out for ya. Happy that you are getting more and more comfortable in the van, a lift kit for the van would be good and would help with some roads that you travel on and it would continue to look cool. Looking forward to the next van-venture. 🥰🌟✌👍

I think some velcro strips affixed around the window and onto the edges of screen would work pretty well...just stick em up when you wanna use them then pull them down when you're done

I agree with the other comment about getting the roll of magnet material and attach it to the screen at that point u could even build a nice frame for the screen
Start the thermal cell as soon as you get to a campsite. It will get the scent swarming the area before the skeeters get ya.
Double sided self adhesive velcro will work best for the screens. It'll give you a tight seal.
Where I live campgrounds are packed.
Even our national parks rustic camping.

Your enthusiasm is so awesome! I enjoyed converting my 2012 Ford e250 van into a camper van. It makes you feel like a kid again…just like when you used to makes forts as a kid and play inside them! Van camping is awesome! It’s amazing how many people are using their vans as a camper! It’s really neat. It’s been fun watching you transform your space into YOUR SPACE! Very nice!

The van is so awesome, I’d sell the truck and put those funds towards everything you want to do the the van and do it right. Saves funds for having duplicate gear for each vehicle. Just my opinion- great stuff
I’m really loving this van stuff! I have even started looking for one! A thought for the screens, get a roll of flat magnet and you can use 4 long pieces all the way around the window to seal it up tight! Either way, I’m really loving what you are doing with the van and love watching you build it out and enjoy for! 🙌🏻🙌🏻

Amazon has slip over bug screens Bud. I got a pair for my pilot! Even got one for my sun roof. I believe they might accommodate those window latches idk?? But they do slip completely over the window frame ect. I can run my windows up n down no issues.

Love the vid. How about sewing half inch velcro on the screens and taking the hook end to the windows. should keep bugs out and removable for when you need to access the window latch.

The ideal arrangement and situation for p/t Van Life. I'm no mechanic, and don't know one so I'd have to get something that doesn't need work but is still really affordable. Really difficult to find both. So until it's time for the rubber to hit the pavement I'll live vicariously though your videos. Giving me a lot of good ideas for low to no build conversions, appreciated! And you brought cinnamon rolls and chilli into my life too! To say nothing of this chicken, cream cheese, and jelly feast! Many thanks.

@37:00 So I suggested alot of stuff in the last video I think it was maybe the one before..
Here are some other suggestions...
As far as the lighting goes, I would go something that runs along the rails towards the ceiling, and get lights that have a dim, bright, and hella bright setting...
This next one would just look cool, no purposeful function... But line the headliner with the star LED lights like in a Rolls Royce..
As far as the monitor selection goes, a tablet mount would be cool, but if you want a bigger screen, that's more wiring and power.. with that said, I'm all with putting a monitor in, maybe back seat, or get a fold down one from the ceiling...
A mini fridge maybe with a freezer would be nice... but of course this would require a lot of wiring and stuff, possibly a 2nd battery. While I'm on the topic, maybe even a shore power connection would also be nice.
Hopefully most of the storage under the bed will suffice for your cooking supplies and such.
For more storage if you need it, I'm sure you could add a roof rack and if you're doing that, might as well install an awning.
Maybe a hitch with a rack if you really needed extra stuff. Gas jug, jack, emergency water jug, etc.
I know this is alot and going overboard, but would love to see it.
If I won the lottery Id be doing this shit in a heartbeat, but then Id miss your videos.

*You should make you a shelf of some kind at the end od the bed to hold your laptop to watch movies. You could make a drop down one.*
Quady, couple suggestions consider the deep jeep screen sleeve that slide over the door in the open position then close the door and your hood to go. I have them for my Jeep! Along with the suction cup usb fans for the windows.

You are making the van so comfortable and homey. I wasn't so sure at first because I really love your pickup, but as a woman alone, I like that you can start it up without having to go outside. I am wondering, at some point are you going to do a lift to make it more off-road adaptable? Love your videos.
I was thinking slightly oversized screens on the outside of the windows to accommodate them popping out, you could then sew magnetic strips wrapped in felt around the edges, that would check all the boxes, easy on/off, no paint damage, and they would be on the outside along with a good seal all around the edge of the screen
Try treating the screens with a permethrin spray. See if that helps more with the bugs chilling on them for now, until you figure out what it is you want to do with the screen situation. 😎🤘🏻 van set up looking pretty cozy dude!
When I was a kid, I always liked the sound when you open and close a van door. It always sounds kinda busted even though it's not. Like you're folding the metal in half. Lol!

❤❤❤ the van set up!!!! I am sure you already know this but Walmart sells a bigger camp size battery operated fan!!! We had two for our tent camping. They can also be plugged in. I wanna say maybe $15. That would be perfect for the van!!!
You might explore putting Velcro on the screens and door frames.
you were definitely popular with the bugs with that bright white light on. I wonder if the bugs are equally attracted to a red light like they use on boats at night. hmmm
