  • This video shows how I replaced brake pads on a Vauxhall Vivaro, and should be the same for Renault Traffic or Nissan Primastar. Mine is a 2012 model. Be sure to torque the calipers bolts to the correct setting and take it easy on the road until the brakes are fully responsive.
I used Bendix Pads from a local supplier which fitted well and bedded in quite quickly, and a tube of Copper Grease.
The discs were changed a few days later, but would have probably been best to do the pads and discs at the same time.
Always make sure the vehicle is supported well, and not just with a jack. Safety First!
Start to finish including jacking up the van, wheels off / on etc.. was about half an hour or so. May take longer if you have stubborn bolts.

Great video mate. Am I right in thinking that for the rear pads ile need a piston wind back tool?

you are, from what I can understand it has to do with the parking brake in the rear.
