West Virginia August 2023 - Great Cacapon

August 20-26, 2023.
Stayed at an airbnb on Constant Run Road in River Ridge in Great Cacapon, WV.
First day: Arrival. Made mac and cheese dinner. Fire on the deck.
Second day: Breakfast of pancakes. Went to Berkeley Springs Salt Cave. Explored Berkeley Springs State Park and got fresh spring water. Had a roman bath in the bathhouse. Explored town a bit. Went to Lighthouse Latte for pie, cupcakes, juice and coffee. Stopped at Country Traditions Emporium for shopping. Visit to Berkeley Springs Brewing for dinner. Fire on deck.
Third day: Breakfast of grilled pb&js. Swim in the river. Went to Cacapon Resort State Park and went to the lodge, then the summitt and hiked the fire trail a bit. Stopped at the lake in the park. Went to Tony's Butcher Block to get food for dinner. Stop at Pap's Dairy Dreams for ice cream. Stopped at Panoramic Peak. Fire in the big firepit.
Fourth Day: Breakfast of eggs and english muffins. Hung around the house and played games. Went into Hancock MD and stopped at Blue Goose Market for goodies. Went to all you can eat crabs at Jimmy Joy's log cabin inn.
Fifth day: Breakfast of pie and toast from Blue Goose. Drive back roads to Sharpsburg MD to visit Antietam National Battlefield. Stop at Nutter's Ice Cream. Ordered from Mythical Pizza for dinner. Played games.
Sixth day: Breakfast of eggs and leftovers. Visit to Paw Paw Tunnel. Swim in the river. Played games and hung on the deck. Dinner of pasta from the house and leftover pizza.
Last day: Breakfast of pancakes. Pack up and drive home.
