The math is super simple with scaling. Take a tailors tape measure or a strip of paper long enough to fit comfortably around the widest part of your head (around your ears). For example My head measurement came to 23 inches. Take 23 divide it by 3.14 giving you a total of 7.32 and that's the width of your head. when in pepakura, make sure the widest area of the model comes to 7.32 using the measure distance between two points tool in the edit tab/2D tab. personally I like to scale it just a tad bigger so I have room for padding and to take into account the thickness of the materials used.
This is the best tutorial on Mark 85 using cardboard available on youtube till now...Awesome job man...pls create an insta id..so that we can tag you and show you the props we are building seeing your tutorials..in the next video..pls wear it and show it io us
start sharing the link of this video on the community posts bro..it will reach to more subscribers of yours..and what do you think of posting a poll for a deadpool mask build now ?
Thanks for the tip, and about the Deadpool mask, I might not be able to make it soon because I need to focus on college for now, but don't worry I'd still try to make it
@@craftdistry can i ask you from where exactly you get those pdo files from which you make those templates ? or you make everything by your own from scratch ?
@@worldofsongsbyarka most of the time I get the templates from the website called caderbox or just by searching in the internet but for the mark 85 helmet I download a 3d model of the helmet and then I modified it using blender so that I can import it on pepakura then create the templates out of it
template 1: The size I used on the video → rb.gy/8fiuux template 2: (much preferable for most people) A little bigger size if the first template is small → rb.gy/xa718l

Brother Can i use epoxy resin instead of polyester resin?
Btw Thanks for delivering this masterpiece on yt 🔥🤝
@@C_E_O721 yes, epoxy resin works great too
@@craftdistry Thanks bro :)
what type of resin did you use?
@@IhateChess-l9v polyester resin
can the resin harden on its own or is the fiberglass cloth necessary
The fiberglass cloth is necessary as it creates the thick layer that hardens the helmet
plz make it motorized without eceltonic
Bro which resin you use fiber glass or epocy resin
I used polyester resin
can you pls tell me the diameter of the magnets used..i am going to buy some..want the size you are using

Bro how to make own pepakura disign
you can either download a 3d model online then import it in pepakura or sculpt your own 3d model and import it in pepakura
Which chrome paint did you use?
I used bosny chrome paint since it is much cheaper and practical than the other brands but feel free to choose what you like
