Nice work. This video kind of answers my question about locomotives carried on wagons. As my plans is to bring three UK Class 60 diesel locomotives into the United states for preservation in the future and they are 129/130 tonnes in weight and I was wondering if these low loaders are suitable to carry a freight locomotive that heavy? But thanks for the video. It helps.

You are the first one I've seen that uploads Train related videos and fire alarm videos.

Two of my favorite passions, I try to incorporate both kinds of videos on my channel because I know several people that are into both just like me 🙂

Camera angle and background embankment made me wonder if it was a garden railroad at first! Was that a Genset switcher on the flatcar? Nice catch.

Looks like it I think, This railroad is the NS lehigh line from Bethlehem PA to the ports in Newark NJ. I was about fifteen feet on that rock recording that train.

When i was in jr high school (early 1960s), there were a few times that bullies tried to get me to set a false alarm, but i adamantly refused, was i right for being that way 🤔?

Yes! I was bullied as well. Had a bike slammed on my head at the age of 7, Causing a false alarm not only is crime but it also takes away precious resources that could be responding to actual real events. The fact that you knew better and DIDNT FOLD to the bullies, you have my respect.

@@WillsFireAlarms arent kids cruel? Never had a bike slammed on me, but when i was 7, i was chasing a butterfly, and tripped over my own feet, the resulting fall made a nasty coal cinder open up my right knee, and there it lodged. At the ER, it took 4 big strong female German nurses to restrain me until the anesthesia kicked in. I will be 74 soon, and that scar is a constant reminder. (Dang, those nurses were ugly 😱) Then, in my early 20s, i tried being Evel Kneivel on a bike, just added insult to injury on the one knee and scraped the schnott out of the other one. I just didnt learn!

@@WillsFireAlarms yes, i knew right from wrong, grade school was a breeze, but jr high was THE pits, i hated ALL 3 years of it! I always thought about going to the principal about that issue, but those bullies would have worked me over, and i didnt have any parental support, they were so dysfunctional 😔. So after that, i just kept my distance from the bullies as best i could.
