I wonder whether the excess water can be recycled for industrial/household use. But if can't, channel the water to reservoir for emergency usage during dry spell.

I truly pity condo dwellers and those that stay in the city centre. They don’t get green space like this. Their green space is the skygarden of their condo or maybe the road that goes around the blocks. I see them jogging there. 😢

It isn't a lake, its a pond, its like Punggol park that pond like that, or Yishun that pond, or Bt Panjang Pangsua Pond, just call it what it is, a pond.

This is a lake as it is 1.8 hectares in size, and can hold up to 40,000 cubic metres of water, the equivalent of 16 Olympic-sized swimming pools.

When a flooding was called ponding, seasonal event turned into "once in 100 years" and a pond called a lake. You know a mole hill is called a mountain.

@@zack.111 it's tiny, have you even seen a lake before, this is a miniscule pond.

This is why the first-world PAP govt is ranked the most effective in the world. Opposition parties certainly have a lot to learn from PAP.👍👍

Why they have that silly raintree, if don't have the rain tree can store more water.

Climate change?! She has to go there? Its the monsoon, silly. In December 1969, 469 mm was recorded in a single day. In December 1978, 512 mm was recorded. And yes, both were in December, in monsoon season.

What does she mean climate change? Talking about drainage systems. Is it because of the melting ice? Maybe her ice kacang melts.
