- This is a comparison of Obi Wan's lightsabers from Star Wars A New Hope between Roman Props MK1 and 89Sabers K4v2. Kenobi's sabers are one of the most iconic props in Star Wars but which saber is more accurate? In this video I will explain the differences between these two hilts and let you know which one is more accurate. I installed both of these lightsabers with proffie and neopixel. I hope you enjoy the video!

Before even watching I'm gonna go with Mk1 all the way
I like these lightsaber comparisons
To be honest, I love both of them. Cool comparison though man!
Love videos like this that compare lightsabers! Helps people make a decision about which is right for them!
i needed this video, thanks for making it
The mk1 is my favorite
Incredibly thorough!
Something I've heard mentioned a lot is that it is easier to install neopixel on the k4v2 than on the mk1. That's why I went with the k4v2 since it'll be my first time building a saber.
Agreed. MK1 all the way.
I wanted 99.9% accuracy so I got the MK1
How do these compare when it comes to sound? The 89Sabers has a very clever sound vent in the pommel. The MK1 has to have the speaker inside the clamp section. Which one do you find sounds better/louder? I've been under the assumption the 89Sabers would be louder, especially if your hand covers the clamp on the Mk1. Is that your experience, or have you found otherwise?
I have now installed both a few times now and both are very loud. Yes at times you hand can cover the sound but it's a small price to pay for accuracy.
Whoa it's ben shapiro
So MK1 > 89sabers?
yes. the MK1 is the most accurate ANH obi saber ever made.
