I've purchased collectable silver coins for decades. Few years ago when I walked out of the coin shop with my shinny new 2019 silver eagle, the wife asked, "What the hell is that good for?" Actually a good question coming from a person whose moral duty was to spend each dollar earned as quickly as possible.
My only answer was, "because I want too."
Weeks later we were at a farmers market, one stand selling eggs.
I had 3 one ounce silver rounds from the 1980's that might have cost 7 dollars apiece, I used to buy silver bars for birthday/Christmas gifts.
I took out a silver round and asked how many eggs can I buy with this? He flipped it over a couple times and said 6 doz?
For over 4 years now, twice a month 6 doz eggs have cost me 1 oz silver (delivered).
So basically when I could buy silver at 22+ spot my egg cost was $.4.5 a doz even when eggs hit $7. in the retail market
So actually silver is a hedge inflation if you can find to outlets that accept it.
Hopefully you got rid of that problem! 😂

When silver went down to 11 or 12 my local silver dealer was charging like $7 or $8 over spot. So it was effectively the same price as before it dropped.
Only place I could think of is online/eBay where there price fluctuates with the spot.

@@JFEnterprize bought some at this time ,silver was $12 eBay was $14.50, I bought 100 oz, they charged my credit card and after 2 months,said more delays , I canceled the order.

I Live in Thailand and when I arrived 3 years ago I moved all my investments in to physical gold....It is easy to do here, the mark up on bars is only about .2% and you can buy and sell at a shop on every street corner...I really like the fundamentals on silver and believe that it has a much higher upside then gold, but here in Asia they don't like silver (the shops don't buy or sell it)....If you need a smaller denomination they just make smaller bars, they have bars that go down to 1/3 gram.....Just be aware that the wealth is moving from the West to the East and the East loves gold.

He'd have had the same zero promotion (nil/zero/cypher as me except he had things to peddle that channels can boost & those who've seen my free info know it he formerly did cover my unique info should know he did not want to delete it but I was weary of being a draw to his promos. Like you, I believe Silver could one day surpass the price of Gold. The reason I suspect that is that we've consumed it into oblivion over the last 150 years. All the Gold ever mined is still above ground, yet most of the Silver has been consumed. There is going to come a time when there will be a shortage, and it will take time to come up with a solution to salvage it from waste, and open up new mines. There will probably be a 5 year window or longer that any measurable solution will be found for either a Silver replacement, or silver recovery from Landfills. Even new Silver Mine leases, which take over a decade now, might only take a few years in the future, should the need to open up new mines. However, it would take dozens of mines 10 million ounces to overcome the escalating short fall. The next 10 years are going to be way more interesting for Silver than the last 10.
They got plenty of reserves. They’re left and marked $35 silver, 40$ silver with estimations on overall quantity.
It is in need and used in many mass produced items related to energy.
You have some good stuff though, 🚬 ☘️..

Silver was money when I was a kid. The quarters had silver in them. I think the old half dollar had like a half oz in them. I still have some.

Silver dropped a couple bucks so i bought more. Immediately after i got ads on social media and i was reading the comments. People dont get it, they think its useless. Its actually heartwarming because we are going to need renters in the future. Not everyone can escape the prison of consumer mentality.

I always carry two 1oz coins in my pocket. Not only for the frequency, but to hand them out IF I believe someone may have heard what I had to say. I also say that should they want to sell them, I will pay the going rate. When I go back and ask if they have purchased another coin. Not one has said yes. I then ask if I can buy them back at the current price. I haven’t had any takers. They say they still have them and they are grateful, but do plan to buy some. Perhaps I’m the dumb one for doing so.
How to get the message out? Who knows.
Hopefully those 2oz will help them some day.

So glad that when I took my state retirement a couple years ago (I'm still working), that I took a partial lump-sum payout and paid off about 90% of my debts. Also bought lots of [Au] and [Ag], which I still buy some every month.

No doubt!! Investing in many sources of income that are independent on government paychecks is the prudent thing that everyone should be thinking about right now, especially given the global economic crisis. Stocks, forex, and digital currencies are still good investments at this time.
I didn't become financially independent until I was in my late 40's, and I'm still in my 40's. In addition to having purchased my second home and earning money on a monthly basis through passive income, I've also achieved three out of five goals. I just hope this inspires someone to realize that it doesn't matter if you don't have any of these things yet, you can start today no matter your age. Change your future by investing! Well we know that several tribute demands from the Assyrian King was about 10 to 1 silver to gold, so that may have been indicative of that time periods valuation.

I used to think silver spot would run up in the US. After the last month, I'm leaning far more toward an overnight revaluation. These US banks are completely F'd, now that the Eastern market is actively buying all the physical and at 10-15% above whatever the daily comex/London ETF scheme "pricing" is at.

Wish I had been able to get a question to David. If the US/China/India/Russia each stockpiled an additional 200M ounces of silver for their military applications, and 100M ounces for each nations high tech industries for AI, Aerospace, chipsets and other applications then what impact does that have on alleged remaining stockpiles. Additionally, if 1.4 Billion India residents and 1.4+ Billion Chinese residents are each encouraged to have .5-5+oz avg additional silver per adult... what does that do to that 2 Billion estimated silver ounce supply? Lingering thoughts. Good to see the backyard chat!

Bought AMS46K at 0.88 each, couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it soar past 1$.
Got a big laugh out of this guy at right around 25 minutes in. Talking about how you don't need money (except for basic needs), that inner spirituality is enough. Sure can tell he has never been poor a day in his life.
the Money Changers and Priest, required the temple tax to be paid in Shekels, but the local currency was the Roman Denerius. Silver for Silver weight both coin where equal, but the money changers multiplied the exchange for maximum profit. First I hear of Roman using paper currency, I know they diluted the silver content in the coins.
