Obviously this gentleman is taking great care preserving and modifying this wonderful specimen. Also proves there are still some good things to see in thanks again thanks again Lou.
Hi,Lou !.....This is Charlie "The 426 HEMI lover" Christie......You have there a FABULOUS example of the Supra from a time when the car was affordable to the average guy. The upgrades are all in good taste and I think add to the value of this rare car. Never sell it !

I had a 2008 Mercedes-Benz C350 in Mars Red. It was one red hot, bada$$ looking car, and quick, too. Don’t ask me why, and no one can tell me why, but that car being the intense Red color that it was, was hit 5 times; 3 x’s rear ended, and 2 x’s hit around the frontal area. You would think the intense Red color being bright & loud would deter all this, but red cars get into accidents probably more than any other color out there.
Hey Lou! How are you, big brother? WOW-this car is a different surprise from you. And delicious! Love the Supra, man. Long, flowing lines-classic Japanese sports car-but beefy, too. Like one of my boyhood "Shogun Warriors" brought to life😁, you know? Shheeettt-takes me right back to high school, man. After baseball practice, me and my buddy Ralphie Ruocco would swap our floppy sneakers and hop in, looking for girls...;)....The mods that Jeff has done are epic and super clean. An awesome car. Thanks big bro Lou! :) JV Johnny ⚾

Hi Roscoe, Happy to read you have a fun Supra too. So here is how that works. You e-mail me, and I'll send your questions and cell phone number to Jeff and then it's up to him to contact you or not. Put in the subject line of the e-mail, I'm Roscoe with the Supra. My e-mail is trupowr@yahoo.com
I always seem to have a different take on things. Let's try and compare Apples to Apples. The 1961 XKE is the car that the Supra may have been going after? Fully independent suspension at all 4 corners. Check. Disc Brakes all around. Check. Inline 6 overhead cam. Check. Rear Wheel Drive/Front Engine. Check. The XKE had a 4 speed gear box and the Supra has a 5 speed. The XKE weighed in at about 2700 pounds, but the Supra weighed 3450. The Supra weighed 200 pounds less than a 1986 4 Door Caprice Classic with a reasonably powerful 305 small block V-8, with a 4 Barrel Carb and most of the Bells & Whistles. That tells me that Toyota added a few too many Bells & Whistles for the Supra to be a True Competitive Sports Car. Jeff had to bump up the HP & Torque to compensate for the extra weight to keep the car as it came from the factory. Every car has it's advantages and disadvantages. Even cars that are slow and don't go around turns so well can be enjoyable to drive. Thank-you Lou for Showcasing all of the cars that you do!!!
Hi Lou. I’m Roscoe. Loved what Jeff did to his beautiful Supra. I have a #2 Condition 91 Supra of same color . How can I reach out to you and Jeff ? I want to get some advice from Jeff to improve my Supra also Thanks
Hi, Lou! Well, personally I'm definitely not a Toyota fan, never have been and don't think I ever will be. I'll admit it's probably American pride. To me nothing could be more Japanese or less American than a Toyota, even if a lot of them are made in America. To be fair, America is the land of opportunity for foreigners, whether vehicles or people, so I'm not saying Toyota isn't welcome here, and I appreciate that Toyota has earned a stellar reputation for quality and therefore don't have to ask why their vehicles are so ultra-popular. At the same time, I also feel that Toyota has done more than anyone else to cut Detroit down to size, and I think it's lamentable that Toyota has overtaken GM as the world's biggest automaker. And generally, I've never considered Toyotas stylish, fun, exciting, or in any way interesting, certainly not the Corolla or the Prius. One time I saw a bumper sticker on an F-150 that read, "Happily consuming the gas your Prius is saving." But I suppose if any Toyota comes even close to fitting those four adjectives, the Supra would be it, although I still say it's no substitute for a Corvette. That said, to each his own, and I was a good enough sport to watch this episode and will give credit where credit is due. Jeff has done a magnificent job of preserving this Supra and keeping it so clean, and I'll admit this is one Toyota you won't find too often nowadays, especially with the Turbo. I will also say that I do enjoy my 2016 Subaru Forester. It's never let me down through 100K miles and it's ideal for getting me through New England winters. I also have nice memories of going to kindergarten in an army green Datsun 510 wagon. The mother of one of my little classmates drove me, her daughter and a few of my other classmates there and they called it "Pansy". Thanks to you and Jeff for bringing something a little different to the channel!
