The 2024 Carolina Panthers Are HISTORICALLY BAD

- However bad you think the Panthers are, I promise you, they're worse than that.
Two games into the 2024 NFL season, and the Carolina Panthers are 0-2 after failing to put up 200 yards of offense in each of their first two games. As for the other teams in NFL history to be that inept this early on... it's not pretty

Gotta wait 5 years lol
As someone from NC, they are not the Carolina Panthers to me. Nah. We just have college football.
They're the Neptune Panthers. Cause nobody on Earth wants to be associated with...whatever they claim to be.
Seriously. I'm a Patriots fan and if we were playing the Panthers, it would literally be cheaper for me to drive to Charlotte and get tickets on the road than it would be to get tickets at home.
That fanbase has been obliterated and I fully expect Tepper to try and move the team in a few years to salvage it and make money that way
At this point one of two things will happen in the next 5 years
1. Tepper sells the Panthers
2. Tepper moves them somewhere
Exactly, all hope and pride in this fanbase has been completely obliterated. If we go winless this season, they're dead to me. Move them to Antarctica, I won't give a shit.
I find it funny how the steelers have more wins than the panthers, even though both teams have scored the same amount of touchdowns
*two more wins
Bro really ??? Pitt has made like 7 field goals in two games tho. Thats 21 points
@growing.grounds4054 it's actually 8 field goals, and the steelers have scored 31 points in those 2 games combined. They did score a td vs denver
Steelers have a great defense. Makes a big difference.
1 word, defense
Hot take: while Bryce Young could debatably be one of the worst busts in NFL history, the panthers selection of Bryce Young is the worst draft pick in NFL history given the circumstance of trading all of those picks and the quarterbacks taken after Young
That trade may singlehandedly tank the Panthers for over a decade. Two top 10 picks (including number 1 overall), a few other picks (including what could be #33 this year), and their best WR to get a QB who has literally nothing to work with. Hopefully Bryce can find success somewhere else, because none will come his way in Charlotte
@@TheSonicsean Maybe go play with the Birmingham Stallions in the UFL?
The Panthers ruined the kid before he even had a chance. They traded away all their weapons, unexpected a undersized, underplayed quarterback to make the difference up.
Imagine Bryce Young gets traded and becomes prime Tom Brady
Doubtful. Maybe if the Birmingham Stallions pick him up…
Give him to someone like Miami and we might see the potential we saw in Alabama. Mike turned tua into an NFL QB that most people said he wasn't.
Imagine purple elephants flying out of my butt, now.
Ikr. 😅
I could see him winding up like another QB the Patriots drafted: Jim Plunkett.
what the hell was that 20 foot jump by that Titans defender at 11:43 LOL
What impressed me the most is how he somehow defied gravity and physics by staying perfectly horizontal for at least a foot. No object's supposed to do that on Earth. The moon maybe, but not this planet.
My favorite fact about the 77 Bucs: both coaches they best got fired
Both Hank Stram (New Orleans Saints) and Don Coryell (St. Louis Cardinals) paid dearly for their teams' losses to the Bucs. That's how scared everyone was of losing to the Bucs back then!
@@marcus813 Coryell's firing had nothing to do with losing to the Bucs and more for him being publicly critical of the Cardinals organization. He was expected to return in 1978 but made comments of how cheap Bill Bidwill was(he wasn't lying). As for Hank Stram, in Conrad Dobler's book *They Call Me Dirty* he said that when preparing to play the Bucs in 1978 the Saints couldn't watch film of their loss the previous season because Stram had burned the film.
As UrinatingTree would say .... the Panthers are a Lolcow!
JG9: The Browns may have had the worst offensive game in NFL history in 1999.
1979 Seahawks (versus the Rams): Hold my Rainier Beer.
The 1977 Bucs' point total wasn't all from the offense. In their first win in franchise history at the Saints in particular, the defense ignited that win by scoring 3 tuddies. Their "offense" gets too much credit for their PPG average being as "high" as it was.
11:44 BRO WAS FLYING
I’m a bills fan and the 2010 Buffalo Bills INSTANTLY came to mind . Those first two weeks were miserable, and the entire season was a nightmare
Can. a team mutiny against their own owner and refuse to play?
There not gonna do it because there getting paid by him
I'm a JG9 cheerleader: J-G-9! J-G-9! J-G-9! J-G-9!
There needs to be a farm system in the NFL for the panthers to relegate to.
Yeah. Relegate the bottom two teams in each conference to the UFL; promote the top 2 UFL teams to the NFL
@@Jason_Maier thats a terrible idea. Both UFL teams would get obliterated in the NFL every game and go 0-17. Even the best teams in the UFL mostly are made up of players who never made it to the NFL.
@@NFLsuperfan113Even the 2008 Lions or the 2017 Browns would curb stomp the best UFL team.
The team is worse than if you did nothing but spike the ball into the ground on every single play.
The fact that the Panthers have never had back to back +.500 seasons, says a lot,yes they are a newer franchise, but the Texans are newer and they've done it a couple times. Carolina was never the same after Cam left.
Another way I can put it: I have a formula that produces a sort of power score based on points scored, points allowed, league-wide points scored, and win percentage. As of the end of week 2, the average is about 175. The Giants have a score of 36.94, which is abysmal and usually the lowest number I'll see in any given year, but the Panthers are at 9.20. I have *never* seen single digit scores from that formula, the Panthers are just that bad. If you take that power score as a proxy for a team's chance of winning, the Giants have about an 80% chance to beat the Panthers (mind you they play each other in November), and an average team a 95.1% chance to win.
Yeah, it's bad in Charlotte. Even as a Falcons fan I feel bad for them
Worst offense in a single game in nfl history was 1979 seahawks who gained a total of -7 yeards of total offense in a game against the rams
This game needs a deep dive... good video idea
2019 Dolphins had a worse point differential their first two games (-92) and scored less points (10) than the 2024 Panthers. That Dolphins team also started 0-7, but still finished the season with 5 wins.
Panthers are bad yes, but they have time to turn it around and at least achieve mediocrity.
Nah, not gonna happen. This team's got 0-17 written all over it. In five languages.
the first year Tampa Bucs were probably worse than these Panthers. Probably.
I can't help but to wonder if these Panthers might be worse than the 2008 Lions or 2017 Browns. Those teams might've gotten over 200 yards in one of their first 2 games but they still finished 0-16 so you probably at least should've made some mention of them, as they were worse than any other team on this list (except maybe the 1976 Buccaneers, who were also winless).
In the 06 Raiders' defense, 2006 LT was a damn BEAST
How dare you sir. Bragging about having eyes. I lost my eyes as a young man in a nerf vortex football accident.
I wouldn't be surprised at all if my team finished 1-16...and they'll still have a better record than the Panthers.
Jags fan shitting on the Panthers......the balls on this guy😂
4:05 rooting for an 0-17 season as a Browns fan, gotta break the recency.
Could the Panthers be the NFL's answer to the White Sox?
Funny that we're now comparing these Panthers to the old Buccaneers, because now I kinda hope Bryce Young gets quickly traded and then hilariously emerges as at least a halfway decent QB like half of all the quarterbacks the Buccs wrecked in their first 20 years.
Same here, as a Bama fan
I don't know how to explain it but your voice sounds like Company Man, but like an octave higher
Unless the Carolina Panthers somehow improve within the next few weeks, they're going to end up having their *seventh* consecutive losing season! How did they get *this* bad?! 😆
The Carolina Panthers are the only team in the NGL whose season is already over after two weeks of the season played.
My team says hold our beer.
If you played a same drinking game with other rookie QBs you would be dead. LMAO 🤣
in 1980 (nearly half a century ago)... ouch JG9. That hurts
If everything goes wrong for the Panthers... 0-17 this year...
The 2019 Dolphins not making the list amazed, astonished and astounded me. But they gained exactly 200 yards in the opener so nope, they barely missed the cut. That irks me somehow.
Did the Raiders offense go over easy? I’ll show myself out.
4-13 average record? You said there was no reason for optimism, that's a 100% improvement from last year!
I don't think young is a bust. I think he needs a team that isn't qb cancer.
Thank you! Bama fans like me have been saying the same thing!
@@9mmtrillaEven though he's statistically a worse QB than Jemarcus Russell.
Definition of a bust at this current time.
As a Giants fan, we might be as bad as they are honestly.
Y'all at least put up a fight. The Panthers are, well, toothless
that game in Germany might be a Super Tank Bowl
@@otaviofrn_adv The NFL will get fined for sending radioactive waste across international borders 😄😄😄
Hot take: Bryce Young should get another opportunity somewhere else in 2027 after the Panthers decline his 5 year option. Whoever does, let him be a backup QB, sit & observe for a year or 2 (maybe more). If he still is a bad QB, cut ties with him immediately. Though he’s bad now, doesn’t help that he’s on the worst managed team that the owner meddles in all the team decisions causing this mess.
geno smith somehow manage to hang in the lague long enough to find a team that knew how to use him so its always possible
@@Marveryn it’s probably waaay too early but Sam Darnold has started off 2-0 as the Vikings starting QB.
@@MarverynGeno smith wasn’t this bad. He at least had some good games with the jets like beating the pats and the saints his rookie year and the perfect game against the dolphins in his second year.
@@ErikCB912 He was also a great QB in West Virginia, and at least was surrounded with talent on the 2013/2016 Jets...
@@9mmtrilla 2013 team had talent? lol that team was awful. That was when John Idzik started blowing up the team that went to the afc championship games. You probably couldn’t even name who the best WR was on that team. The fact that they went 8-8 was a miracle. Probably one of the worst 8-8 teams can remember. And Geno didn’t even play much in 2016. Even if he did Brandon Marshall and Eric Decker were out for most of the season.
What makes it bad is their 2nd round pick in 2025 draft belongs to the Chicago Bears, thanks to that trade, 2 years ago.
Honestly the whole team needs to be benched
Except for Adam Thielen, he’s probably their best player tbh.
😅😅
@@anthonymendez1997As a Vikings fan, I just wish some team would rescue him so bad. He is too good for the Panthers.
@@eudstersgamersquad6738 Nobody deserves to be on this shitty team with such a pitiful owner.
4-13 strikes me as the highest ceiling the team can achieve at this rate……
This franchise should be moved to Toronto
Honestly can we just fire the head coach, offensive coordinator and bench the whole team already? LOL!!!
As Opaline from My Little Pony would say, “DISGUSTING!!!”
Andy Dalton can help a team if he has some players around him, but he can't carry a team.
May be the first team to go 0-17.
Would've never have thought it was possible for Carolina to be worse than what they were last year
That was what I was thinking given the fact my wife is a Panthers fan.
Is the 2023 NFL draft gonna be like the 2007 NBA draft? Except for the fact that Greg Oden wasn't terrible, he was just injury prone.
I have a soft spot for the Panthers, but for as long as Diet Daniel Snyder is owning the team, they will have to endure a lengthy dark age.
Historically and historically bad.
1998 Philadelphia Eagles were so bad and had the worst offense
Until further notice, I will be calling them the Michigan Panthers.
This team should be demoted to the UFL. Replace them with the Stallions. Or the BattleHawks.
Yes their bad & suck unlike the ⚜who sweeps them every year WHODAT
PANTHERS are going 0-17 or 1-16 this year 😂😆. Panthers Suck!
Yeah, they are going to give their fans a glimmer of hope with beating a team at like the Cowboys level like they did last year and then go back to sucking right after for the rest of the year.
I think there is good odds that they become the first team to go 0-17 this year
5 years ago i thought the 2019 Dolphins were going to be 0-16 following blowout home losses to the Ravens and the Pats. They started season like 0-7 with 6 double digit losses.
This year's panthers look quite bad. The only tradeable asset they have i think is Jaycee Horn since Derrick Brown is out for the season. Could Dalton plays the Fitzpatrick role throwing for a lot of yards?
2019 Dolphins might have pulled it off if Flores hadn't decided to start winning out of sheer spite because Steven Ross wanted Joe Burrow. .
Meanwhile in Houston…..
Yep. It's offical. The Panthers are going 0-17 this year.
Would a point differential minimum effect the list?
With the first pick in the 2025 NGL Draft, the Carolina Panthers select, _______________________________

@@VyzradesQuotem2003-b4oFootball to me is soccer for you. Football to you is gridiron to me.
Andy is a good qb. He will keep bailing them out and win a game or two.
A lot of Panthers fans have an irrational fear Dalton will win 6 or more with this roster and tank their draft.
It's been 2 games
They can still beat the Cowboys!!!
I hope tney dont best thecraiders 😢
Do me a favor, stop comparing other teams to the only franchise in history, to be forced to start e with zero draft picks, and exclusively other teams rejects. The Panthers get the #1 draft choices every year. But you bash the Buccaneers, who were forced to start their franchise with only the garbage excarded by other teams. No comparison. Everyone is a millionaire on Carolinas pathetic team. T B didn't have one of those 10 years into their existence.
You just gonna pretend the Bucs didn’t pick Lee Roy Selmon with the first overall pick they were rewarded with?
