I had a friend from a previous job I considered like family that completely quit speaking to me out of the blue, this person had just been wanting to make plans with me beforehand and such and then when I texted her to congratulate her on her new apartment and suggested we get lunch or something there was radio silence. I sent several messages and called and started to get worried something bad had happened to her. So I asked another person she worked with if she was alright and they said yeah she was fine. I asked them to please let her know I was trying to get a hold of her but never heard anything since. So confusing! It’s been about 5 years now and it still bothers me.
That sounds so similar to what happened to me.. so you have no answers as to why? Do you think you’ll ever try to contact her again? I hate not knowing! It’s like just tell us!!! lol I’m wondering if it’s some sort of jealousy going on.. ? It’s so frustrating.. in my case he literally was texting me everyday about something.. wanting to help me market my business, told me “whatever you need” then completely backed away..
@@uplatewithmike yeah that has to be so hurtful. Have you tried talking to this person telling them these feelings and that you really considered them a true lifelong friend? And nope I still have no clue. I had even left her a voicemail saying if I had done anything to please let me know and I’m so sorry if I had, etc (even though rationally I knew I hadn’t) but there was never a response… the girl I spoke with that still worked with her said she had no clue why she wouldn’t be responding to me and would tell her I was wondering if she was okay… so I am still confused. It was so odd because she was like my mom and she would always tell me how much I reminded her of her daughter which was why we got along so well and she bought me a bunch of stuff for my baby I had just had at the time and she was SO excited to meet her. Or so I thought. It never happened.
That’s not a true friend and he sounds seriously warped. All you can do is pray for him and wish him well. It is so hurtful though.
