    How can you compare dough Hook vs Cookie Hook???Are you serious???

  • @jj1vin2
    @jj1vin2 3 года назад +7

    This is a biased review since you are using the paddle to mix the dough when you are supposed to use the dough hook like you did with the kitchenaid.

      hmmmm, so its a biased review when someone reviews to models of the same car with different engines? That is what you get with it...if someone says my 911 turbo is better than your chrysler voyager even though they are 60k difference in price...how many idiots can you haul in a Porsche?

    Bro wtf. You were using the creamer attachment for dough.

      He mentioned that the cheaper model did not come with a dough hook…. And what the heck is a creamer attachment?! Do you mean the flat beater or the wire Whisk?

    @mikebrock1965 3 года назад +6

    Some stand mixers have an adjusting screw in the hinge between the stand and body that allows you to raise or lower the head to get the attachments closer to the bowl.

    The Kuccu comes in a 6.5 qt. too. The bowl is contoured more at the bottom, which would probably help it reach the edges better. Also, it now comes with a dough hook. If something on the Kuccu broke, you could replace it 7 times for the same as the price of the KitchenAid (it's $99 now).

    KUCCU stand mixers come with a dough hook. Look in the box. Anyway, you are comparing a Rolls Royce to a Volkswagon. You get what you pay for. Remember a KitchenAid weighs 22 lbs., the KUCCU weighs 13 lbs. Some women just whip out the handmixer rather haul the KitchenAid to the counter.

    You are comparing a tilt head to a bowl lift. You should have compared the generic to a kitchenaid tilt head.

      Buy a bosch compact for bread making on a budget. It will amaze you and takes no space.

    Thanks I must have changed since you bought this. I also have the Kuccu mixer, and mine came with a dough hook, a whisk, and a beater. it also came with a splash Shield.
    I agree with you in that whisk, and the beater does not touch the bottom of the bowl, thereby causing you to stop it and scrape yourself.
    But when I use the dough hook it doesn't seem to have any difficulty like yours did when you used the beater. When I make dough using the dough hook, it does not have any delay or strain in any way.

    I'd like to be able to afford the quality of a KitchenAid....I may have to settle for the less....I'll be making pasta.....but using a hook...not sure.. Amend your video with the cheaper mixer mixing dough,....but with a hook, not a paddle...

    Listen kitchen aid is expensive. That is rent. If u have or on a budget like me I’d have to go with the cheaper one until I can save up for a different cheaper kitchen aid.

    There are more than two types of mixers. There are the Bosch mixers and multiple copycats of these, as well as the Ankarsrum mixer.

    Kitchen aid mixer are actually made by Whirlpool Which is the parent company. Whirlpool also makes stand mixers branded Under the Kenmore name. Both the bowl lift models and tilt head models both excel at different things. If you are someone who makes a lot of heavy type bread doughs then you really want to go with a bowl lift model with a fixed head but the trade off is both convenience and also the bowl lift models tend to have bigger bowls in require more ingredients in order to mix properly which is fine unless you want to make a smaller batch of something. Kitchenaid/Kenmore tilt head models are great for Mixing and whipping as well as the occasionals making of dough. I also have experimented with these cheaper Amazon and ALDI mixers And have found them to be little more useful then a decent hand mixer. A good stand mixer should be like a "better" Blender or food processor. Cheap and plastic may get you Only so far but if you want something that is going to last you want to go with a heavier die cast metal mixer like a kitchenaid/Kenmore.

    Considering you are comparing a $500 dollar mixer with one you can get for $100; we can see that bang for buck it's the cheaper mixer all day long. I mean, that's not even a comp.
    Yes, you do have to scrape a kitchen aide bowl. Yes, they will bounce on the counter
    And no, a kitchen aide doesn't last a lifetime. They can and do die on you

    We bought a Massimo stand mixer at Hart Maison Engros at Place Vertu,
    Montreal. It worked great the first time. The second time the locking
    mechanism seemed broken. Maison Engros said one week had passed, they
    have nothing to do with it, perhaps call the manufacturer, but no number
    was listed. We tried our luck calling Maison Condelle, the name listed
    on Massimo packaging. They passed us onto a lady by the name of M.
    Dessur......, customer rep at Hart Stores. She seemed very nice and
    willing to help. We did what she asked: send her the receipt and any
    details by email. That was the end of it, we heard nothing further from her.
    Phone calls left at Hart Stores have been met with complete silence.
