    Oldest video I've watched on this channel and it's crazy how well the video and style of the channel evolved!

    I agree with another post... wow how this channel has evolved to what it is today. Many other channels have excellent content too, but you guys have cornered the market on the complete package (content, video/sound, character). Keep it up!!! One question: I catch Jungo and Brandon removing and inserting thumb insert at times. Do you all use the Turbo Switch system or another?

    • @jrproshop
      @jrproshop  3 года назад

      Yep, turbo switch grips, they are the most simple to instal

    Ive been bowling for 20 some years my average ranged from the 180s 240 average and in regular league play i averaged 197 to 250 some nights back were i use to live in Northern Ontario

    Thanks for the reviews, they were good before but you guys keep getting better. Like the on lane comparisons as well as the extra thoughts on what you saw. I've got an emerald as well as a solid and my only compliant with the solid is it can be a bit too much downlane sometimes. Lane shines really quick so I'm thinking the nano pearl will blend a littlest better for me. Keep up the good work.

      the nano will definitely blend the pattern out a little better, i would drill the IQ nano a little stronger than your Tour. just to give you a little more difference in ball reaction. thanks for the comment !!

    Like the videos! Is TX16 considered Nano based for the Phaze2?

    Love your Videos, very informative and responsive to questions.
    I have a phaze 2 and just got a IQ TNP.
    So my question is.. on a house pattern
    Synthetic and wood lanes,
    What ball would you start with,
    Phaze 2 or IQ Tour nano pearl?
    Synthetic med vol oil- P2 rolls out at times
    Synthetic high Vol oil- p2 is sharp backend very strong if I'm not firm with it.
    Wood 42' oil pattern- P2 is decent but burns out sometiems before end of 1st game.

    • @jrproshop
      @jrproshop  2 года назад +1

      I’d always start with the phaze 2. Use it as your benchmark ball and get a read off of it. Then go from there for adjustments/ ball changes

    Excellent review Jungo. Enjoyed it. I have the IQ Tour and original IQ Tour Nano (solid). If I roll the Nano out to the right, it comes back very strong. Don't often use it though. Use the Code X along with the IQ Tour on the house shots I'm usually on as an older guy. The Code X is comfortable for me with a speed of about 15 mph off my hand and lower revs. Been thinking about getting another ball with a little more on the backend. Was trending toward a Physix, but it's gone. Then looked closely at the Omega Crux, Axiom and Phase 2. I'm getting a feeling that the Phase 2 would work quite well for me.

      Thanks for the kind words Clowny! hmm looking for slightly more back end than than the Code X ? actually you might like the new Parallax, check out the review of it tomorrow !

    Could a Stroker use the Nano Pearl with a Axiom for League? Or would you make the Nano Pearl #1 of a 1-2 punch and add what as ball #2?

    • @jordanjungjrproshop9380
      @jordanjungjrproshop9380 4 года назад

      Hey Bob! Yes, the axiom and the IQ nano pearl would be a good 1-2 punch, the axiom will be much earlier and more boards overall, and the IQ would be a nice step down from that.

    All these ball review channels always seem to have the cleanest looking bowling centers on the planet.
    Would be nice if any of the bowling centers within 100 miles of where I live looked this nice. I can't help
    but notice how clean this bowling alley is. Looks like you could practically lick the countertops or even
    the approach. Where is this bowling alley located? How old is this bowling center? There's no way it's
    older than 10 years?

    • @jrproshop
      @jrproshop  3 года назад

      We are in Richmond, BC, Canada! The centre opened in 1998

    Would you say the IQ Nano would be better than the Tour solid for shorter patterns because it's smoother?

  • @danielschank
    @danielschank 3 года назад +1

    What were the surfaces on the two IQ’s and were they fresh or did you keep the lane shine on the og IQ Tour Solid?
    My IQ Nano Pearl seems too smooth dull so I polished it and now its over under. Wondering if you changed the surface, did you stack them like 500/1000/2000 or did you go 500/2000?

    • @jrproshop
      @jrproshop  3 года назад +1

      The balls were box finish in the video, sometimes the balls look shinier cause of the lights.
      If that's the case, I'd suggest 4000 finish and do 500,2000,4000 that should be right between the box and polish

    Jungo, Would you say that the Phaze II and the IQ Nano Pearl have very similar shapes? Will you be evaluating the Rubicon soon?

    • @jrproshop
      @jrproshop  4 года назад

      Hmm, I'd say the phaze2 is much earlier and smoother because of the difference in core shape. Yes rubicon review coming soon!

    • @clowny2396
      @clowny2396 3 года назад

      Jungo, I finally got the IQ TNP. Very nice ball. I watched it closely and it's backend move was great. It made my bowling look much more consistent and was in the pocket for all three league games (Senior League). Let quite a few 7s and 10s. I think this will be coming with me each week for quite a while. My bag will have a this ball + Axiom Pearl + Pro-Motion and probably the Incite or Rubicon. Use the Mix as a spare ball (14 lbs). The reactive balls are all 15 lbs.

    I'm curious what JR's average speed is MPH for his shots?
    I'm trying to do the math myself but I don't know how accurate I am.
    It seems like it takes a full 2 seconds for his ball to hit the head pin
    and another full second for the ball to exit the back of the lane.
    So with that I'm thinking 20 feet per second x 3 = 13.64 miles per hour.
    Mind you I'm not good with math and I highly doubt he's only throwing
    the ball 14 mph (rounded up)
    EDIT - after using an actual stop watch rather than me counting seconds
    in my head I realized I was off. 2.64 seconds is the roughly the time I get
    from the time he releases the ball to the time it exits the back of the lane.
    So that means it's traveling about 25 feet (give or take) per second which
    is more around 17.05 mph. Any math nerds that can help?

    • @dcccvislimbone9147
      @dcccvislimbone9147 3 года назад +2

      If you guys could add the MPH in the bottom right of the screen for each shot in your upcoming videos that would be awesome!

    would the IQ Tour pearl be better for sports conditions? would it work in wet dry conditions? I am a two handed bowler

    • @jrproshop
      @jrproshop  4 года назад

      Hmm no one ball is better than another for certain sport/ house conditions, but the new IQ pearl would definitely be good on fresh/ slightly burned up oil patterns (sport or house) cause of the smooth reaction it has 🙂

    You know almost every single doctor will tell you that mask don't do really that much unless you're in a operating room and especially a bandana is bad for your health. The only mask that did anything for the actual work mask for like if you're doing painting or construction work n93 mask. Which was very easy to figure out during covid at the very beginning as long as you didn't watch NBC or any mainstream channels
