Paul Anka - I Don't Like to Sleep Alone with rare long ending

- I think this was an early version, judging by the more "finalized" sound and lyrics of the more common one, but someone told me it was a remake, and that Anka had rerecorded three other songs also - "One Man Woman", "I Believe There's Nothing Stronger Than Our Love", and the best one was supposed to have been "Anytime (I'll Be There)".

And please let me know the label numbers if you run across these recordings on GEMM or ebay (probably also on forgotten 45s), and I'll do my best to digitize them.
I wonder if Paul had Could It Be Magic in mind when he wrote this, where the singing similarly fades out a minute before the music ends.

The most beautiful love song I have ever heard......One night ..long ago I was out on a saturday night with 2 other girlsfriends of mine..they were bored and wanted to go home..I didnt..so I stayed by myself in a little bar in a small town...sitting at the bar with my drink listening to the music...I was 24 years old..long long dark hair flowing down my back..wearing a new little black dress...and black high heels...this song was playing as I guess I was swaying a little to the music while I sat on that barstool..suddenly I felt like someone was watching me..I looked up and there in the bar mirror was the most handsome man I have ever known...and after 20 years we are still as much in love as we were that night our eyes met for the first time as he tapped my shoulder and asked me to dance to this song ..we danced for thenext 2 hrs to ONLY this song...over and over and over again.....

Such great memories of this song, my dad loves this song and he went through a faze of just playing this.
However he could never find this version so he would pop the tape out of the tape deck and sing the extra verse and then proceed to pop it back in 😂.

Although Pauls any track is soothing enough but this particular is another heart catching and remiss me of medical school friends when four of us boys used to share a house with out any girl friends.
