Promise is such a grail fragrance. In the air, such a stunner!! On the skin, the fragrance contorts and transitions so much on my skin. Every time I wear it, especially in the cold, a new facet opens up to me. It’s so mysterious but so inviting!!! 2 sprays last till eternity and the sillage is a mile long. What else do you want in a fragrance?

This is also the same with Oman Luxury’s Royal Incense vs Matiere Premiere Encens Suave. The comments in Fragrantica say that one is a dupe of the other.
Smelling them side by side, they are not identical and would not be redundant if you have both in your collection
I like oud aquilaria because it's more wearable. People will stay it's a straight up watered down version but I have to disagree. I think they're similar scents but have a different character. OA is more elegant and ethereal, with the rose turned up and the Apple opening turned down. It's like something you'd wear at a wedding, but also you could wear it casually or as a signature scent because it's no as polarising as FMP with the castoreum and cypriol. FMP is more dark and earthy, and it's so insanely potent and the Apple screams at you to where it's just gets kind of annoying. When I first smelled FMP at the department store I was blown away, but I wondered, when would I ever wear this? Luckily I found out about OA and it was basically the answer to my prayers. Perfect performance, potent and long lasting but not so cloying. My favourite scent of all time. Both are perfect masterpieces

Yes! For me promise is just soooo loud, oud aquilaria is just more wearable

To be honest...I love both,but I really prefer oud aquilaria... By your reaction,I have the feeling that oud aquilaria is a shit,which actually is not the case. It's an amazing perfume.
