Jay Birong regarding pollution. The richest 10% stands for ruffly 50% of the carbon dioxide emissions. So if you are the type of person who can afford this type of vacation then you should probably look at your own contributions. Not saying that you are or that you pollute, just pointing out my opinion.

Just got back from Conrad Maldives on a rewards trip. Honestly it is incredible! Having gold or diamond status does help and we managed to upgrade to a 2 bedroom overwater villa for only 40% the cost of the difference between our standard room and the overwater villa. However be prepared for a hefty check out bill as food is expensive and trip costs will add up. Along with that 20 minute seaplane ride.... and every thing is ++

Hey Brian - can you give any insight as to the best flight options to travel there? I’m going from Houston, looking at United/Air India on mile for business or Singapore air ‘ premium economy via Chase UR points. How did you get there?
Know this is really late reply, but right now the only real option is Qatar Airways. You could nab a business seat for 70K AA Miles out of DFW that would get you to Doha, than a 5 hour hop DOH-MLE. Once things settle down again, TK can also be a good option. Last time we went we flew TK MLE-IST-SFO J using UA miles.

Finally got a chance to stay in it last week. It's Villa #801, BTW, not 2601. Opted for them to cook us a meal at the villa, came out to the most expensive meal of my life (given I don't have interest in Wine/Champagne)

Oh we stayed here on the island of Manhattan... very quiet indeed! Less traffic and omg not too many tourists and crowds, oh oh it’s Covid-19.. that’s why.

At 9:08, how do you find it for so cheap. When I look at booking it, it says over a million points per night, or $6000 per night? Please help
Visit Hiltons website, do a search of Maldives using a single night and checking the box for flexible dates, you'll see which days are available for 120,000 points.
Stayed at the Conrad in Maldives. It was a million points but was well worth it.
We also stayed in Conrad Maldives for our honeymoon back to 8 years ago. We regretted of going there at the end. The weather was extremely hot and the food was not impressive at all. The overwater villa that we stayed at was just so so. I dont remember exactly how much we spend on the room, probably over 1000 dollars per night, it was not worth the money and the time.

Wow, that's an insane villa! I wish I hadn't abandoned Hilton for SPG prior to the Mariott Merger. Would St. Regis be the best one in the Marriott portfolio?
John Jacob Astor Estate at St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort is certainly one of the best here. It's a 3 bedroom villa though, perfect for the family and friends to holiday together.

2.2 million points per night... I put 60+ nights and ~$30k in expenses (restaurants, airfare, rental car, etc.) on my Aspire last year and did the SUBs for the Surpass and regular Hilton Honors card and I just cracked 1 million points, which I thought made me hot shit. Thanks for flexing and bringing me back down to earth.
Sadly the only thing I can relate to regarding your travels is how ubiquitous plastic waste has become in our oceans, from South Point to South Beach. Also congrats on your Player 2.
