Thank you very much for this video which looks from today as picture´s from "good old times" in a way in which former generations talked about the time before the World War started. You used nearly the last possible chance to tape that good old times before the pandemic beats us. I flew only some few weeks earlier the same famous right turn into the airport of Gran Canaria, spending than some wonderful holiday weeks around the turn of the years 2019/ 2020 in Playa del Ingles and got a strapless deep bronzed tan at the nude beach of Maspalomas - all of which you can see together with the famous dunes in this video from above - while being not able to imagine what waited ahead of us and where we´re sitting now nearly one and a half year later. I left Gran Canaria only a short time before you arrived.

Thank you very much for this video which looks from today in a way from "good old times" in which former generations talked about the time before the World War started. You used indeed nearly the last possible chance to tape this good old time before the pandemic beated us. I flew only a few weeks earlier exactly this famous right turn into the airport of Gran Canaria, spended a wonderful holiday time around the turn of the years 2019/ 2020 in Playa del Ingles and got a strapless deep bronzed tan at the nude beach of Maspalomas, which you all can see together with the famous dunes from above in this video. I left Gran Canaria only a short time before you arrived, while I wasn´t able to imagine what waited ahead of us and where we are still sitting now round about one and a half year later...
So thank you very much for this video - and hopefully we will be able one day to experience this arrival again.

Thank you very much for this video! From today it feels like the "good old time" in a way former generations talked about the time before the world war started. You covered really the last chance for taping this good old time - February 2020, four weeks before the pandemic hits us. I flew only a few weeks earlier this same way with the famous right turn into the airport of Gran Canaria and spended some wonderful holiday weeks in Playa del Ingles during the turn of the years 2019/ 2020, got a strapless deep bronzed tan while enjoying the nude beach of Maspalomas which is together with the dunes visible from above in this video and I had left Gran Canaria only a short time before you arrived - while I was not able to imagine what was ahead of us and how we´re still sitting here nearly one and a half year later... :-(

As can be clearly seen in the video, the planes enter the territory of Gran Canaria at Castillo del Romeral, then they fly over Pozo Izquierdo, then they skirt Vecindario, then they arrive at Cruce de Arinaga and continue on Las Rosas, Playa from Varga, Oasis, El Burrero and finally the airport. All this while flying very low and skimming the houses, which produces an infernal noise at ground level. In total, tens of thousands of residents are affected with each plane landing, and there is one almost every minute, day and night. And nobody says anything, nobody cares. It is impossible to live in these conditions. The houses on the landing line are worth nothing. You have to go broke to install soundproof windows and soundproof the walls, and even then, that's not always enough. The plane overflight route in Gran Canaria is a disaster. Why not send them by sea? All over the world, planes do not fly over residential areas, or as little as possible. In Gran Canaria almost the entire coast is constantly flown over. Besides the noise, it's dangerous. How is it possible ?
